Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry estimates a usage quantity of water by a consumer in a predetermined period based on a past usage quantity of water by the consumer. The processing circuitry determines proportions between water obtained from a water source and supplied water that is artificially supplied, in such a manner as to minimize, while satisfying the estimated usage quantity, a charge based on expense of purifying the water obtained from the water source and a charge for the supplied water.
