    Abstract: The present invention is a class of organosilicone terpolymers which may be used to abate the foaming of diesel fuel at silicon levels below 1.2 ppm. Said silicone terpolymers are modified alkyl phenol derivatives and polyethers grafted on a polysiloxane copolymer. Said polysiloxane terpolymer has a structure of MD.sub.x D*.sub.y D**.sub.2 M, where M is O.sub.0.5 Si(CH.sub.3).sub.3, D is a OSi(CH.sub.3).sub.2, D* is OSi(CH.sub.3)R, R is a polyether, D** is OSi(CH.sub.3)R', R' is a phenol derivative x+y+z is 35-350, x/(y+z) is 3 to 6 and y/z is 0.25 to about 9.0.

    Abstract: Water-insoluble polyoxyalkylene graft copolymers are effective anti-foam agents for reducing foaming in crude oil/gas separators. The copolymers are of formula: ##STR1## wherein R is an ethylene, propylene or butene group or a mixture thereof;R' is a hydrocarbyl group containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms;R" is a hydroxyl group, an alkoxy group or an alkyl group containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms;(a) is a number in the range 100 to 250;(b) is a number in the range 1 to 6;(c) is a number in the range 1 to 10; and(d) is a number in the range 10 to 100.They are particularly useful in breaking microgas dispersions and foams resulting from crude oils with a high gas to oil ratio.

    Abstract: A process for making flexible polyurethane foam, employing a silicone surfactant composition containing 5-20 wt % of a defined low molecular weight silicone surfactant and 95-80 wt % of a defined high molecular weight silicone surfactant.     Abstract: The invention relates to silicone surfactants having the general formula:MD.sub.x D'.sub.y Mwherein M is a (CH.sub.3).sub.3 SiO.sub.0.5 -- group; D is a --(CH.sub.3).sub.2 SiO-- group; D is a --(CH.sub.3)(R.sup.2)SiO-- group, in which R.sup.2 is a non-linear hydrocarbyl group; x is 0 or an integer from 1 to 20 and y is an integer from 1 to 20. The silicone surfactants of the present invention are effective polyurethane foam stabilisers and are effective in amounts smaller than previously used commercially thereby leading to savings in costs.
