Abstract:
A device for adjusting the position of two protective film rolls in laminators having two roll shafts individually having a hexagonal cross-section. The right end of each roll shaft is movably received in a cap. A bolt, having a circular head, a woodruff key part and an externally-threaded part, is fitted into a semicircular hole of the cap at the woodruff key part. The bolt also passes through a hole of a right-hand bracket of the laminator prior to engaging with a tension adjusting handle at the externally-threaded part. Both a compression coil spring and a first bushing are commonly fitted over the bolt at a position between the bracket and the handle. A bolt part axially extends from the left end of each roll shaft, while two shaft adjusting handles movably engage with the bolt part. Doubled bushings are fitted over the bolt part at a position between the two shaft adjusting handles.
Abstract:
The device for holding a film roll in a laminator. The film roll holding device of the present invention helps a user correctly install the film roll in the laminator without confusing a film roll installation orientation. Furthermore, the film roll holding device can appropriately tension the film during a film-coating process despite having a simple structure.
Abstract:
The laminator with a small film roll has a structure capable of having the small film roll mounted thereto, thus reducing costs required for laminating a target sheet, thereby solving problems occurring due to expensive costs. Furthermore, a feed tray is easily and removably installed, so that a process of mounting the small film roll to the laminator is simplified, thereby most users can easily use the laminator. Also, an upper heating roller of the laminator is able to be replaced by a roller having an embossing function. Therefore, the laminator of the present invention is able to texture the target sheet with various and graceful shapes.
Abstract:
A film loading arrangement simplifies the film loading process for a user and prevents the improper loading of a laminate film roll into a laminating machine. The laminating machine includes a female support unit configured to receive a first end of the laminate film roll to properly position the roll in the laminating machine, and a male support unit configured to be received in the second end of the laminate film roll to properly position the roll in the laminating machine. A male coupling structure of the roll is received in the female support unit and a female coupling structure of the roll receives the male support unit. The laminating machine further includes a tensioning mechanism for adjusting the force required to unroll laminating film from the supported roll.
Abstract:
A laminate film of thermoplastic resin includes V-shaped or semicircular grooves between protruded parts formed continuously in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction of the film, on one surface thereof. Upon conducting a lamination process, generation of air pockets between the laminate film and a subject to be coated can be effectively prevented, and the laminate film does not come off the subject.
Abstract:
A layered film sheet which can coat a sheet-like subject and is folded to coat the subject. In the folded, layered film sheet, an embossed polyvinyl chloride film exists as an outermost layer, an EVA film serves as an innermost layer in direct contact with the subject and a low density polyethylene film, an EVA film and a polyester film are intermediately inserted therebetween. The LDPE film and the polyester film are bonded to the outermost layer and the innermost layer via water-miscible acryl adhesives respectively. The innermost layer is softened and made adhesive at low temperatures and thus, the total coating process can be conducted at decreased temperatures so that the outermost PVC film can be expressed in effective embossed patterns.
Abstract:
A film roll holder for laminators by which a hollow paper tube wound with a film thereon is held around a rolling shaft of a laminator while the film wound around the hollow paper tube is transferred to a heating roller, thus preventing air pockets from being generated between the film and the surface of the objective material and preventing wrinkles from being formed on the film. The film roll holder includes a cylindrical body having a shaft hole; an annular groove; and a plurality of elongated grooves. There is a support blade unit inserted into each of the elongated grooves of the cylindrical body. The support blade unit has a plurality of support blades and a fitting notch. The film roll holder further includes a rubber ring fitted over each of the annular grooves, and a cover mounted to each of both ends of the cylindrical body by a plurality of mounting bolts.

Abstract:
A device for adjusting a position of two film rolls so as to align the two film rolls with each other in laminators is disclosed. A shaft holder engages with one end of a housing and movably receives one end of a roll shaft. A connection bolt, having a head and an externally-threaded shank provided with a woodruff key, engages with the other end of the housing from the inside to the outside of the housing, with the head being positioned inside the housing and the shank partially projecting from the housing. A bearing is set in the head of the connection bolt and holds the roll shaft passing though the shaft holder. An annular setting lever engages with the shank of the connection bolt at a position outside the housing. An adjusting handle is fitted over the woodruff key of the connection bolt. The above handle has a radial screw hole, with a wrench bolt being movably screwed into the screw hole so as to removably fix the handle to the woodruff key of the connection bolt.
Abstract:
The device for actuation of rollers using a feed tray in a laminator. The roller actuating device of the present invention mechanically and simply actuates both a pair of heating rollers for thermal coating of films on both surfaces of an object material and a pair of compressing rollers for compressing and feeding the film-coated object material to the outside. The roller actuating device has a simple structure, thus allowing a user to easily manipulate the laminator.
