Abstract:
The present disclosure measures radiation doses on different directions. A partition is used, which has a certain attenuation ratio. With the partition, radiation doses on different directions can be determined without knowing the thickness or material of the partition.
Abstract:
An intra prediction mode selecting method is disclosed. First, a compress profile and a frame resolution of a frame data are received. Next, a plurality of corresponding prediction modes are selected according to the compress profile and the frame resolution, and the selected prediction modes are scheduled for sequentially calculating a plurality of corresponding cost functions. Finally, the cost functions are compared to select one of the prediction modes to serve as a prediction mode of the frame data.
Abstract:
A method for producing the LED substrate has steps of: p providing a conductive metallic board, forming multiple grooves in a top of the conductive metallic board; protecting the conductive metallic board from corrosion, forming an etched substrate with circuits and wires for plating on the conductive metallic board, electroless plating the etched substrate to form an electroless plated substrate, plating metal on the electroless plated substrate, and coating solder mask to obtain the LED substrate. Because LED chips are mounted on the surfaces of the metal layer without insulating adhesive below, heat from LED chips can be dissipated efficiently. The LED substrate of the present invention can be soldered directly onto a dissipation module to further enhance dissipation efficiency.
Abstract:
An optical lens module including a foundation, at least one actuator, a lens base, an optical lens, at least one shaft, and at least one rocker arm is provided. The actuator is disposed in an accommodation space, defined inside the foundation, and fixed on the foundation. The lens base is disposed in the accommodation space and beside the actuator. The optical lens is disposed on the lens base. The shaft has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The first end is solidly connected to the lens base. The second end is connected to the foundation. The rocker arm has a third end and a fourth end opposite to the third end. The third end is solidly connected to a portion of the shaft between the first end and the second end. The fourth end is connected to the actuator.
Abstract:
An imaging displacement module including a frame, an optical element, a carrier, a connecting portion and at least a first actuator is provided. The frame has a first opening, and the optical element, the carrier, the connecting portion and the first actuator are all disposed in the first opening. The carrier is capable of carrying the optical element, and the connecting portion connects between the frame and the carrier and capable of generating an elastic torsion around an axis. The first actuator is disposed at a side of the carrier and capable of driving the carrier to vibrate periodically.
Abstract:
A method for instant on multimedia playing is provided, which enables a computer to selectively enter an operation mode of an IOMP (Instant On Multimedia Player) program when it enters a power conservation mode. First, a computer system stays in the power conservation mode, until an IOMP activating signal has been received. Next, the computer system saves the hardware information of the computer into a memory. And then a processor of the computer reads an IOMP program from another memory and executes the IOMP program to produce and display a human-computer interface menu, which is provided for users to select files for playing. Next, the processor executes the IOMP program to play the files selected previously. Finally, upon the receipt of a recovery instruction, the computer system saves the hardware information back into the computer to recover the computer to the power conservation mode.
Abstract:
A reflector module for a projection system includes a base, a reflecting component provided with a reflecting surface, an axle unit, and at least one actuator. The base has a surrounding wall with a bottom side, and a bottom wall connected to the surrounding wall for closing the bottom side of the surrounding wall. The reflecting component is disposed in the base, and has side edges and an underside surface. The axle unit is disposed on the side edges of the reflecting component, and interconnects the surrounding wall of the base and the reflecting component such that the reflecting component is mounted tiltably in the base about the axle unit. The actuator is mounted between the bottom wall of the base and the underside surface of the reflecting component, and is operable to drive movement of the reflecting component to cause the reflecting surface to oscillate about the axle unit.
Abstract:
A method for building an ACPI architecture according to an ID code of a device connected to a bus during the booting period of a computer system. The method includes: (a) storing ASL codes of a plurality of the same type of devices in the BIOS of the computer system; (b) detecting the ID code of the device type connected to the computer system during the POST period; (c) loading the ASL code corresponding with the ID code detected in step (b) to a memory of the computer system, and ceasing to load ASL codes having ID codes not detected in step (b) to the memory of the computer system.
Abstract:
A laryngeal mask airway is provided. The laryngeal mask airway mainly includes a handle. A front end of the handle is connected to a mask body, and the handle and the mask body are formed of a flexible polymer material (e.g., polyvinyl chloride, PVC) for medical use. A guiding hole is formed at a side where the mask body and the handle are connected, and a working area is formed at an external opening of the guiding hole. With the working area, after an endotracheal intubation procedure is completed, a medical staff is able to hold the endotracheal tube with fingers throughout the whole procedure when the laryngeal mask airway is being removed, to prevent an improper movement of the endotracheal tube.
