Abstract:
This invention relates to a brightness enhancement film (BEF) and backlight module in which the brightness enhancement film comprises a plurality of continuous trapezoidal columnar units. The first surface and the second surface of each trapezoidal columnar unit are parallel to each other, and the first surface is provided with a plurality of micro-protrusions or micro-indentations in regular or irregular arrangement such that the brightness enhancement film has good beam-condensing performance by the provision of the trapezoidal columnar unit and the micro-protrusions or the micro-indentations on it, and brightness enhancement film is not damaged in the assembling process. Additionally, when brightness enhancement film is utilized in the backlight module, a backlight module with good light-output efficiency as well as low manufacturing cost can be obtained by only stacking in order of a brightness enhancement film, a planar light source and a reflector.
Abstract:
A diffusion film consists of a transparent film layer, a coating layer on one side of the transparent film layer, and a stickiness prevention layer on the other side of the transparent film layer; to make the stickiness prevention layer, first the transparent film layer is coated with a layer of viscous resin, and next a roller, which has a raised pattern on its surface, is rolled over the viscous resin coating for the coating to have raised and sunken portions arranged in regularly repeated manner on its surface, and the viscous resin coating is fixed into shape; the diffusion film is positioned such that the stickiness-prevention layer touches the light guide plate for preventing the diffusion film and the light guide plate from sticking together and preventing optical interference; consequently, the backlight module has a uniform light.

A protective film includes a basic material, an anti-scratch or anti-glare layer on an upper side of the basic material, an anti-smudge layer on an upper side of the anti-scratch or anti-glare layer, and an adhesive layer on a lower side of the basic material for sticking to an object; the anti-scratch or anti-glare layer has a certain hardness and can reduce reflection of light; the anti-smudge layer has a large water contact angle; further, a detaching layer is positioned on a lower side of the adhesive layer therefore the adhesive layer is allowed to stick to an object after the detaching layer is removed.
