Abstract:
A display control method includes the steps of obtaining a plurality of thumbnail images for a document having a plurality of pages, the thumbnail images each presenting each of the plurality of pages reduced in size in a reference state, rotated about a virtual rotation axis as a center, and processed into a view overlooked from a certain viewpoint; obtaining a first search subject; obtaining a first tag image corresponding to the first search subject obtained; and displaying a thumbnail image group on a display device, the thumbnail image group including the plurality of thumbnail images in a state in which at least two thumbnail images among the plurality of thumbnail images are partially overlapped each other and the first tag image is added to a thumbnail image of a page including the first search subject.
Abstract:
A toner container detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus includes a main body for containing toner, a toner discharging portion having an opening, and a coupling member. The coupling member includes an extended portion. The extended portion includes an engaging projection. The engaging projection is configured and positioned to displace in an inward direction with the extended portion as the engaging projection enters a hollow cylindrical driving member of an assembly of the image forming apparatus, and is also configured and positioned to engage with a slot of the hollow cylindrical driving member when the extended portion elastically restores in an outward direction. The engaging projection includes a tapered surface portion configured and positioned to receive a force for displacing in the inward direction with the extended portion as the engaging projection enters the hollow cylindrical driving member, and a side surface portion.
Abstract:
A driving method of an electrophoretic display device, which has a plurality of pixels where an electrophoretic layer is interposed between a first electrode and a second electrode, including supplying a first voltage pulse with one polarity of the first polarity and the second polarity to the first pixel in a first display state; supplying a second voltage pulse with the other polarity of the first polarity and the second polarity to the first pixel; supplying a third voltage pulse, which has the same polarity as the polarity of the first voltage pulse and has a duration different from a duration of the first voltage pulse, to a second pixel which is in the first display state; and supplying the second voltage pulse to the second pixel.
Abstract:
A toner container detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus, includes a main body for containing toner; a sealing portion for sealing the toner discharge opening; locking projections for snap-fitting engagement with holes provided in a cylindrical member of an image forming apparatus, wherein the projections receive from the cylindrical member unsealing forces for unsealing the toner discharge opening by a relative movement between the sealing portion and the toner container, wherein a number of the locking projections is larger than a number of ribs provided between the holes of the cylindrical member.

Abstract:
Each of a plurality of regions of a display unit is provided with an access flag indicative of whether a writing operation is performed on pixels in a corresponding region. It is determined whether the corresponding operation is performed on each of the regions based on the access flag. When the corresponding operation is necessary, image data written in a memory is compared with estimated image data. As a result, when a new writing operation is necessary, the new writing operation starts to be performed on each pixel after a previous writing operation is terminated. When the writing operation is terminated on all the pixels included in the region, the state of the access flag corresponding to the relevant region is changed to a state in which the writing operation is not necessary.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus includes an input receiving unit that receives an input of a movement operation including a movement direction and a movement distance of a pointer displayed on a display unit, and a display control unit that causes the pointer to move in accordance with the movement operation; each time the input receiving unit receives an input of the movement operation, the display control unit causes the post-movement pointer to be further displayed on the display unit in a different display form than the pre-movement pointer.

Abstract:
A control device includes: a first storage device storing a dither matrix of two-dimensionally arranged dither values; a second storage device storing data of a-gradation levels; a first correction device that performs a first correction processing of calculating a first correction value for correcting gradation blurring-out from the target pixel to an adjacent pixel; a second correction device that performs a second correction processing of calculating a second correction value for correcting gradation blurring-in from the adjacent pixel to the target pixel; and a gradation value deciding device that decides a gradation value of the target pixel expressed in the b-gradation levels by using a value obtained by adding a corresponding one of the dither values stored in the first storage device, a corresponding one of the gradation values stored in the second storage device and at least one of the first correction value and the second correction value.
Abstract:
A display apparatus includes: a display device that displays a plurality of images in a first row, an operation of an application program being assigned to each of the images; a rearrangement device that rearranges the plurality of images, when a portion of the first row is specified, such that the specified portion is at an opened facing page section; an execution device that executes the operation of the application program corresponding to an image located at the opened facing page section when the opened facing page section is specified; and a display control device that controls the display device, when the operation is executed by the execution device, to perform a display according to the operation executed.
