    Abstract: A resin material including a hydrogenated crystalline polar group-containing dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer and a hydrogenated crystalline non-polar dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer in a weight ratio (hydrogenated crystalline polar group-containing dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer:hydrogenated crystalline non-polar dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer) of 100:0 to 1:99, the hydrogenated crystalline polar group-containing dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer being obtained by melt-mixing a hydrogenated crystalline non-polar dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer, a radical initiator, and a polar group-containing compound that includes an ethylenically unsaturated bond, the resin material including a structural unit derived from the polar group-containing compound that includes an ethylenically unsaturated bond in a ratio of 0.05 to 3.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the hydrogenated crystalline polar group-containing dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer and the hydrogenated crystalline non-polar dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer in total; and a resin film including the resin material; and a laminate film including the resin film.

    Abstract: Provided is a shaping material with which a shaped product having excellent flame retardancy can be formed. The shaping material contains a hydrogenated cycloolefin ring-opened polymer and an organophosphinate flame retardant. The organophosphinate flame retardant is either or both of a compound indicated by the following formula (I) and a compound indicated by the following formula (II). Moreover, the organophosphinate flame retardant has an average dispersion diameter of 10 μm or less.

    Abstract: The present invention is a polymer composition comprising a hydrogenated crystalline cycloolefin ring-opening polymer (A) that comprises a repeating unit derived from a polycyclic norbornene-based monomer that includes three or more rings, 5 to 100 parts by weight of a glass filler (B) based on 100 parts by weight of the hydrogenated crystalline cycloolefin ring-opening polymer (A), and 5 to 20 parts of a metal oxide (C) based on 100 parts by weight of the hydrogenated crystalline cycloolefin ring-opening polymer (A), and a formed article. The polymer composition according to the present invention exhibits excellent electrical properties (low dielectric loss tangent), excellent adhesion to plating, and excellent reflow heat resistance, and can maintain strength even when subjected to high-temperature/high-humidity conditions.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a non-woven fabric made of fibers containing a crystalline alicyclic structure-containing resin. The method includes; a step A of melting the crystalline alicyclic structure-containing resin; and a step B of shaping the melted crystalline alicyclic structure-containing resin into the non-woven fabric using a melt-blowing machine. The non-woven fabric has a pore diameter as measured by a bubble point method of 5 μm or less.
