    Abstract: To provide a wound yarn package and a method for manufacturing the same in which even if sea-island type fibers are wound around a bobbin one by one by a traverse mode, cob-webbing and curling are less likely to occur, and the variation in the heat shrinkage rate between layers constituting the yarn layer is reduced. When winding sea-island type fibers with a fineness of 100 to 6400 dtex around a bobbin one by one by a traverse mode to form a yarn layer, each yarn constituting the n-th yarn layer is wound at a position 0 to x mm away from each yarn constituting the (n−1)-th yarn layer, with the yarn width of the sea-island type fiber being taken as x (mm), to fabricate a wound yarn package.

    Abstract: The present invention provides organic-inorganic composite particles of which the creep deformation is further suppressed; and a method for producing the same. Organic-inorganic composite particles 10 include a compound having a siloxane bond and has a particle diameter d0, and when a load is applied such that an amount of displacement Ds satisfies 0.08d0≤Ds≤0.15d0 and is held for 180 seconds, conditions of the following Formulae (1) and (2) are satisfied: (D180−Ds)/d0≤1%  Formula(1); and (Dmax−Ds)/d0≤1%  Formula (2), wherein d0 is an average particle diameter, D180 is an amount of displacement of the particle diameter after 180 seconds of application of the load, and Dmax is the maximum amount of displacement of the particle diameter during the 180 seconds.

Provided is a hollow inorganic particle including an outer shell, the thinnest part of the outer shell/the thickest part of the outer shell being 0.80 or more. The hollow inorganic particle according to the present technology can be produced by a production method including: a coating step of coating core particles made of an organic polymer with a silicone-based compound; and a core particle removal step of removing the core particles. The coating step includes: a dispersant addition step of adding a dispersant to a core particle dispersion; and, after the dispersant addition step, a surfactant addition step of adding a cationic surfactant.

    Abstract: Provided are staple fibers for air laid capable of improving dispersibility, and a method for producing the same. The staple fibers for air laid are characterized by including stable fibers to which a fiber treatment agent containing a hydrophilic oil agent and a silicone-containing oil agent is adhered in an amount of 0.7 to 2 wt % of a weight of the staple fibers, wherein a weight ratio of the hydrophilic oil agent and the silicone-containing oil agent contained in the fiber treatment agent (a weight of the hydrophilic oil agent/a weight of the silicone-containing oil agent) is within a range of 60/40 to 90/10, and a moisture content is 2 to 13%.
