Abstract: The invention relates to an insect trapping device comprising an elongated hollow housing (1) having a control unit (10) with a power supply unit arranged therein, an insect collection container (15), an axial fan (16), a carbon dioxide reservoir (17) having at least one sprayer (4) that is arranged on an external surface of an upper portion of the housing (1) over an inlet of the fan (16), a receiving chamber (8) having meshy external walls (7), and a light source (12) and an incoming air flow guide (14) arranged in the receiving chamber. This structure enables to create the effective trap in which a creation of a large-sized area for attracting and trapping of the insects is achieved.

The air blowing device 1 is provided with: a housing 2 comprising an inlet 20 and an outlet 5 for air; an air blower 10 arranged within the housing 2; a pre-filter 8 that is arranged in the inlet 20 and that collects dust within air; and a cover member 3 that comprises an air suction port 4, that is attached to the housing 2, and that forms an insect trap space 25 between the suction port 4 and the inlet 20. Insects that enter the insect trap space 25 via the suction port 4 are trapped. The outer surface of the cover member 3 is formed so as to have a dark color.

Abstract: A device for trapping insects includes a cover and a trap or cage that are disposed at opposite ends of a housing. A fan is disposed in the housing and oriented to direct an airstream through the housing and toward the trap. A damper is disposed in the airstream proximate the trap and includes two independently operable doors. Each door is biased toward a closed position and opens during operation of the fan. Insects in the proximity of the device are overpowered by the airflow and blow into the trap and retained therein by the airflow or the closed orientation of the damper doors. The trap removably cooperates with the housing to facilitate disposal of insects captured therein.

Abstract: A device for attracting and capturing or otherwise disabling insects includes a fan mechanism structured and arranged to provide an outflow of air out of the device to atmosphere, and to draw an inflow directed counter the outflow from atmosphere into the device, the outflow being substantially within the inflow outside of the device. The flow mechanism is also structured and arranged to provide an insect attractant in the outflow. The outflow attracts insects to the vicinity of the device, and the inflow urges the insects to enter the device.
