Abstract: A head chip, a liquid jet head, and a liquid jet recording device each capable of increasing pressure generated while achieving power saving are provided. The head chip according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a flow channel member having a pressure chamber containing liquid, an actuator plate which is stacked on the flow channel member in a state of being opposed to the pressure chamber in a first direction, a drive electrode which is formed on a surface facing to the first direction in the actuator plate, and which is configured to deform the actuator plate in the first direction to change a volume of the pressure chamber, and a non-drive member which is stacked at an opposite side to the flow channel member across the actuator plate in the first direction, and which is configured to limit a displacement of the actuator plate toward an opposite side to the flow channel member in the first direction.

Abstract: A liquid ejecting head has two unit heads. Each of the two unit heads includes a channel structure and actuators. The channel structure has nozzles, a supply channel, a return channel, a connecting channel connecting the supply channel and the return channel, a supply port, and a discharge port. The two unit heads are arranged to be shifted from each other in the first direction, and are adjacent along a third direction orthogonal to the first direction. Abstract: A liquid discharge head includes a nozzle plate, a needle valve, a mover, a housing, and a sealing member. The needle valve includes a first part having a diameter and a second part having a diameter smaller than the first part. The second part has a leading end contactable with a nozzle to close the nozzle. The needle valve is movable between a position to open the nozzle and a position to close the nozzle. The mover moves the needle valve. The housing has a side wall, a bottom wall, and a liquid chamber communicating with the nozzle. The side wall and the bottom wall define a container containing the mover. The sealing member is disposed between the first part of the needle valve and the bottom wall to seal the container from the liquid chamber. The sealing member is deformable in accordance with the movement of the needle valve.

Abstract: A method for ejecting fluid from a fluid ejector includes actuating a piezoelectric actuator to cause deformation of a membrane defining a wall at a first end of an elongated channel of the fluid ejector, the deformation of the membrane causing ejection of a droplet of fluid from a nozzle disposed at a second end of the channel. The elongated channel fluidically connects a first channel to the nozzle, the first channel disposed at the first end of the elongated channel, and wherein an impedance of the first channel is at least ten times greater than an impedance of the elongated channel. Deformation of the membrane induces fluid flow along the elongated channel, and wherein at least 60% of the fluid flow induced by the deformation of the membrane is in a direction extending from the first end of the elongated channel to the second end of the elongated channel.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an inkjet head capable of continuously ejecting droplets at a high frequency even when an ink having high viscosity is used.
