Abstract:
An adjustable hinge set and a method for making it improves mounting of a deck lid to a motor vehicle body by permitting mass production adjustments without distortion or multiplication of the parts installed. A hinge set bracket with spaced flanges receiving a pivot strap and pivot therebetween is formed with a substantially vertical slot in each flange. At least one insert having a collar and a stem, reinforces the spacing between the support flanges, as the pivot pin compressionally engages the flanges. Preferably, two inserts having a collar and a stem have a combined length that reinforces the predetermined spacing within a predetermined tolerance when compression is adjusted.
Abstract:
A quick release door hinge system has a locking pin and two flaps: A jamb flap that is fixedly attached to a door jamb and a door flap which is fixedly attached to a door. The door flap has built-in downwardly pointing pins that are configured and sized to fit into channels found on the jamb flap. Once the two flaps are connected, the locking pin is inserted so as to block any upward motion of the door flap which could result in an inadvertent release of the door from its hinges.

Abstract:
A hinge for doors or windows which includes a first blade fitted to a door or window and a second blade attached firmly to the casing of the door or window. One of these blades is provided with a central knuckle placed in the free space between two end knuckles attached firmly to the other blade, and one pin engaged in these knuckles ensures the free rotation of one blade as compared to the other. The aforesaid central knuckle comprises, furthermore, a pore that opens into one or more housings into which are engaged plugs provided with jaws fitted with catches that enter into peripheral grooves made in the pin. These jaws take the shape of a cylinder with an outer diameter equal to the inner diameter of the boring of the housings, less twice, at least, the thickness of the catches.
Abstract:
A door hinge assembly is provided which can prevent the phenomenon of closure of an open door by performing a self-stay function, and can improve a worker's or user's convenience and implement a cost saving effect by simplifying the configuration compared to the prior art in which a hinge and a stay are separately provided. To this end, the door hinge assembly includes a hinge shaft, a rotary plate which has one side rotatably connected to the hinge shaft and has the other side connected to a door, and a fixing plate which has one side connected to the hinge shaft and has the other side fixed to a door frame which is formed on the wall surface of an inner space that is opened and closed by the door, wherein the upper end surface of the rotary plate is divided into a reference surface and a stepped surface which has a relatively lower height than the reference surface, and a protrusion part which can be mounted on the reference surface is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the hinge shaft which faces the upper end surface of the rotary plate.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hinge for pivotable connection of two components (1, 2), consisting of at least one first round hinge element (3, 4) at the first component (1) and at least one corresponding second round hinge element (5, 6) at the second component (2), which hinge elements (3, 5; 4, 6) are connected together to be rotatable about the center axis. The first hinge element (3, 4) is a bearing sleeve (7, 8) with a longitudinal gap, by way of which an insertion sleeve (11, 12), similarly provided with a longitudinal gap (13, 14), as second hinge element (5, 6) can be rotated into place in its entirety.
Abstract:
A door hinge assembly is provided. The door hinge assembly includes a first hinge plate, a second hinge plate, one or more bushings, a hinge pin and a hollow sleeve. The first and second hinge plate includes a one or more first and second knuckles aligned axially. At least one of the one or more bushings is positioned in between the first and second knuckle to prevent direct contact of first and second knuckle. The hinge pin is disposed through the first and second knuckles and one or more bushings. The hollow sleeve acts a covering to the hinge pin. The hollow sleeve further prevents contact of the sides of the first knuckle, bushings and second knuckle with the hinge pin. This prevents a direct metal on metal contact and further prevents squeak or other noises occurred during the opening and closing of the door.
Abstract:
A fastening pin, or peg is partially inserted into an aligned aperture and attached thereto by a webbed flashing. In a one-step assembly operation, the pin is driven further into the aperture as the flashing is broken and driven through an aligned aperture of a second component.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly is disclosed that may include one or more leaves that can be connected to a panel. The hinge assembly may further include a barrel having a passage through which a pivot pin passes. A spacer is positioned in an opening between a first barrel section and a second barrel section. Bushings are disposed within the first and second barrel sections.
