    Abstract: A bus connecting cable includes a circuit board, a connector, circuits and a cable. The circuit board includes a top surface and a bottom surface. The connector on the top surface includes first terminals and second terminals. The circuits are arranged on the circuit board and include first circuits and second circuits. Each first circuit penetrates the circuit board and includes a first top end and a first bottom end. The first top ends are respectively connected to the first terminals. Each second circuit penetrates the circuit board and includes a second top end and a second bottom end. The second top ends are respectively connected to the second terminals. The first bottom ends and the second bottom ends are arranged along the bottom surface. The cable includes conductors. Each conductor is soldered to the first bottom ends and the second bottom ends.

    Abstract: A cable termination protection apparatus and methods of use in a prefab factory are disclosed. The cable termination protection apparatus can include a frame having ports arranged on a face of the frame. Each of the ports can be configured to accept a cable termination connector of a networking cable of a static network fabric in a prefab factory. A computing device can generate instructions usable to disconnect a networking cable from the cable termination protection apparatus and reconnect the networking cable at a networking port of a networking device of a region data center rack. The computing device can receive a build request for the region data center request. In response, the computing device can obtain physical configuration parameters for computing devices on the data center rack and cabling specification information. The computing device can generate the instructions using the physical configuration parameters and the cabling specification information.

    Abstract: An electrical power connector includes a connector housing having a slot at a mating end of the connector housing configured to receive a power distribution assembly. The electrical power connector includes power contacts received in the connector housing configured to be is coupled to a power distribution contact of the power distribution assembly. The electrical power connector includes a monitoring device having a monitoring circuit, a monitoring sensor coupled to the monitoring circuit, and a monitoring transmitter coupled to the monitoring circuit. The monitoring sensor is coupled to the power contact to monitor an operating characteristic of the power contact. The monitoring circuit receives sensor signals from the monitoring sensor and the monitoring transmitter transmits monitoring signals from the monitoring circuit based on the operating characteristic of the power contact to a monitoring network remote from the electrical power connector.

    Abstract: Technologies are described for an audio jack housing configured to concentrically align with an opening in a chassis of a computing device and to accept a plug associated with external audio components. When the housing is aligned with the opening, a snout of the audio jack housing abuts an interior surface of the opening and does not protrude into the opening. The chassis where the opening is located may be constructed from a plastic material to reduce a risk of shorting-out when a metal plug is inserted into the housing. The chassis may include alignment features to concentrically align the audio jack housing with the opening during assembly, such that interior edges of the opening and interior edges of the snout are flush creating a smooth interior entry into the audio jack housing through the opening and the snout.
