    Abstract: I rewired a standard one gang electrical outlet receptacle with an 110/120 volt three position toggle switch (ON, OFF, ON). The rewiring allowed for the top outlet to be hot when the toggle was up (ON) and the bottom outlet would be OFF. Conversely, the bottom outlet would be hot when the toggle was down (ON) and the top outlet would be OFF. When the toggle switch was flipped to the middle position (OFF), both outlets would be off. Plugged a 3.5 mm plug from a set of amplified external speakers into my headphone port on the side of my television. The external speakers were plugged into the top outlet on my rewired receptacle. The bottom outlet on my rewired receptacle provided power to my “BOOM BOX.” Flipping my three position toggle switch up turned on my television audio while flipping the toggle switch down would “Silence” my television audio and turn on my “BOOM BOX” radio.—My rewired receptacle is the origin of the Television Commercial Silencer Electrical Wall Outlet Receptacle Tap.

    Abstract: [Object] To provide a connector enabling high quality signal transmission while maintaining compatibility with the current HDMI connector, in a new HDMI interface using pins assigned to a shield, as a data pair.[Solution] Each of signal electrode pins 252, 152 is arrayed near a shell (grounding conductor) 253, 153 so as to couple with the shell, and differential signals are transmitted with single end. A ground plane 254, 154 is disposed between multiple signal electrode pins of a first stage and the plurality of signal electrode pins of a second stage within a dielectric 251, 151. Also, connection conductors 255, 155 electrically connecting the ground plane and the grounding conductor are disposed between each of the signal electrode pins of each of the stages within the dielectric 251, 151. With a pair of signal electrode pins transmitting differential signals, crosstalk from other signal electrode pins can be reduced, and high quality signal transmission is enabled.

    Abstract: An RF directional coupler circuit assembly for matching high frequency cable TV apparatus includes a cover body, and a printed circuit board. The cover body includes a space. The space includes a bottom surface. An RF directional coupler circuit is arranged on the printed circuit board. A 0.01 mm˜2 mm gap is formed between the RF directional coupler circuit and the bottom surface when the printed circuit board is deposited in the space. The distance between the printed circuit board and the cover body is shorten because of the gap, so that the reflections of the high frequency signals and the signal fading are decreasing to achieve matching high frequency impedance characteristics.

    Abstract: A cable television device with high frequency impedance matching includes a housing and a removable collar. The removable collar is disposed on a signal inputting port or a signal outputting port of the housing and a cable wire is connected to the signal inputting port or a signal outputting port. When a high frequency is inputted, the impedance of the removable collar is substantially close to the impedance of the cable wire to reduce the reflected amount of the transmitting signal and the attenuation of the transmitting high frequency signal.

    Abstract: A spring-loaded device is installed into a node housing at a predetermined location. The predetermined location is selected to correspond to another predetermined location into which a stinger may be installed. These predetermined locations on the node housing are selected to further correspond to a predetermined internal location of an RF interface connector. A conducting pin of the RF interface extends through a dielectric between a nail head shaped end, which provides electrical connection with the stinger projection, and an end soldered to a PCB of the amplifier. The amplifier may be installed and the node housing closed before the stinger and spring-loaded device are installed into the housing. This facilitates installation of the stinger into the housing without having to open the housing and remove the amplifier. External threads on the spring-loaded device facilitate installation thereof, but a unique torque is not required therefor.
