Abstract: Elastic band products of high durability and quality are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods of producing durable, high quality elastic band products using modified anvil blocks, including shaped anvil blocks, anvil blocks with lateral protuberances and/or anvil blocks with teeth. The disclosed methods result in reduced elastic yarn thread slippage both during production and in the finished elastic band product.
