PURPOSE: An intrusion detection device and an intrusion detection system including the same are provided to remove unnecessary detection information and to improve reliability. CONSTITUTION: A long distance communication unit(110) receives at least one detection information from a relay device(400). A short distance communication unit(120) receives noise information from a noise detection device located adjacent to an intrusion detection device. A display unit(130) outputs whether there is intrusion into the detection region. A control unit monitors possibility of intrusion into the detection region using the received detection information from the relay device and the noise information received from the noise detection device. The present specification relates to a relay node arrangement method for a surveillance patrol sensor network system capable of safely transmitting information obtained by detecting a trespassing target to a monitoring place by effectively arranging a relay node for the surveillance patrol sensor network system within a communication range. The relay node arrangement method for the surveillance patrol sensor network system according to an embodiment disclosed in the present specification comprises a step of obtaining a weighted value corresponding to environmental elements which influence a communication distance of the relay node; a step of extracting the communication distance of the relay node from multiplication of the weighted value and the maximum communication distance of the relay node; and a step of determining the arrangement position of the relay node using the extracted communication distance, in a method of arranging the relay node to transmit the information detected by the sensor node of the surveillance patrol sensor network system to a command and control terminal located in the monitoring position. Disclosed are a wireless sensor network system and an event detection rate improving method in a wireless sensor network. According to the embodiments of the present invention, an event detection rate is improved by correcting event detection errors by using the temporal and spatial correlation of sensor data in the wireless sensor network. The present invention is applied to an unmanned monitoring boundary field for main facilities and a weak monitoring area which is inaccessible to a person in a military field and a public field by improving the reliability of target detection in the wireless sensor network.
