An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to form the first and second sub gate lines to the first and second sub display regions in parallel to the second direction, thereby reducing the number of gate lines. A main insulating substrate(110) has a main display area for displaying an image and a main peripheral area arranged at the edge of the main display area. A sub insulating substrate is connected with a side of the main insulating substrate and has a sub display area and a sub-peripheral area(113) at the circumference of the sub display area. A driving member(400) is arranged at the circumference of the main insulating substrate. Plural main gate lines are connected with the driving member and formed at the main display area along the first direction. Plural sub gate lines are connected with the driving member and formed at the sub display area along the second direction substantially vertical to the first direction. Plural data lines are connected with the driving member and formed at the main display area according to the second direction. At least a portion of the plural data lines is extended to the sub display area along the first direction.

A display device is provided to lessen the entire thickness of products by electrically contacting a sub drive film, a point source drive film and a drive signal-applied film with a main drive film through an anisotropic conductive film. A display device includes a main display unit, a sub display unit, a main drive film(400), a sub drive film(500), and an anisotropic conductive film(800). The main display unit displays a main image. The sub display unit displays a sub image. The main drive film is coupled to the main display unit. The sub drive film is coupled to the sub display unit. The anisotropic conductive film electrically contacts the sub drive film to the main drive film.

A display device is provided to minimize the total thickness, by distancing a sub display panel from a main display panel in parallel with a plane of the main display panel so that the sub display panel dose not overlap the main display panel. A main display panel(200) displays an image. A sub display panel(300) has a smaller size than the main display panel. The sub display panel is distanced from the main display panel in parallel with a plane of the main display panel. A support frame(750) supports the main display panel and the sub display panel. A first support member(610) and a second support member(620) receive the main display panel, the sub display panel, and the support frame.

A gradation voltage generating module and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having the same are provided to easily control gradation voltages by using variable resistors. A gradation voltage generating module includes a first voltage dividing unit(341) and a second voltage dividing unit(344). The first voltage dividing unit includes plural variable resistors which are series-connected between a first source voltage for supplying a first voltage(AVDD) and a second source voltage for supplying a second voltage(VSS), and outputs plural reference voltages. The second voltage dividing unit divides the reference voltages which are output between the variable resistors, and outputs plural gradation voltages to plural output ends.

광원의 구동을 제어하는 구동 칩에서 발생하는 전자파에 의한 간섭현상을 감소시킬 수 있는 백라이트 어셈블리 및 이를 이용한 표시장치가 개시된다. 백라이트 어셈블리는 광원, 구동 칩 및 인쇄회로기판을 포함한다. 광원은 광을 발생한다. 구동 칩은 광원의 구동을 제어한다. 인쇄회로기판은 구동 칩을 실장하고, 실장된 구동 칩의 주변 영역에 형성되어 구동 칩에서 발생되는 전자파를 차단하는 전자파 차단부를 구비한다. 구동 칩의 동작에 의해 발생하는 전자파에 의한 간섭현상을 방지하여 표시 품질 및 통신 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다.

연성 회로기판 제조방법, 연성 회로기판, 연성 회로기판을 갖는 표시패널 및 표시패널을 갖는 표시장치가 개시된다. 연성 회로기판의 제조방법은 제 1 절연부재 상에 주기적으로 선폭이 감소된 절단부들이 형성된 신호선들을 형성하는 단계, 절단부들의 주변이 노출되도록 신호선들을 덮는 제 2 절연부재를 형성하는 단계 및 제 1 절연부재와 신호선들을 각 절단부에서 절단하는 단계를 포함한다. 이와 같이, 신호선의 절단부들이 각 신호선 몸체보다 좁은 폭을 가짐으로써, 절단부들이 절단될 때 발생되는 신호선들 간의 단락을 방지할 수 있다.

An interface board and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having the same are provided to fix a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) on a bottom chassis using dummies, thereby protecting a driving circuit chip and driving circuit parts from an external impact and preventing the damage of the driving circuit chip and the driving circuit parts. An interface board comprises a substrate, a sub circuit driving unit, a main circuit driving unit(62), and first and second dummy protruded portions(64,66). The sub circuit driving unit is to realize a sub assembly formed on the front of the substrate. The main circuit driving unit is to realize a main assembly formed on the rear of the substrate in a film shape. The first and second dummy protruded portions are formed on the rear of the substrate and are formed at a position adjacent to the main circuit driving unit.

A PCB includes a base substrate, circuit wirings, and an input pad unit(320). The circuit wirings are formed on one surface of the base substrate. The input pad unit is formed on the surface of the base substrate with the circuit wirings to receive external signals. The input pad unit has a first input pad group(322), a second input pad group(325), and a first connecting member(380). The first input pad group has a plurality of first input terminals(323). The second input pad group is spaced apart from the first input pad group and has at least one input terminal(326) electrically connected to at least one of the first input terminals. The first connecting member electrically connects some of the second input terminals.

The signal controller including a counter(670) generates an output control signal based on the input control signal. The memory includes an index that appoints a first instruction among plural instructions. The index and the plural instructions are sequentially transferred to the signal controller.
