Abstract: A rake receiver which is optimum for impulse noise and has a simple structure is provided to lead an optimum rake receiver on the basis of the most similar property on an impulsive noise attenuation channel, and to obtain a quasi-optimum rake receiver showing optimum performance in case of weak signals, thereby simplifying a structure of the receiver. A rake receiver is provided on the basis of an equation 15 or 16. The rake receiver based on the equation 15 should estimate signal strength, while the rake receiver based on the equation 16 does not have to estimate the signal strength. Compared to the rake receiver based on the equation 15, the rake receiver based on the equation 16 has a simpler structure.

Abstract: An adaptive code acquisition method using a receiver diversity and a CFAR(Constant False Alarm Rate) scheme is provided to acquire and estimates a performance characteristic of a CFAR processor having a cell average, a GO(Greatest Of) value, and SO(Smallest Of) value in a homogeneous noise environment when acquiring a pseudo-noise code. An adaptive code acquisition method using reception diversity and a CFAR scheme performs detection by applying a signal received from a plurality of receiving antenna. The CFAR scheme is shown as below. PD=IH,CA(alpha){1-IH,CA(0)}M-1, PFA=1/Lp[IH,CA(0){1-IH,CA(alpha)}{1-IH,CA(0)}M-2] + (Lp-1)/Lp[IH,CA(0){1-IH,CA(0)}M-1]. The average CFAR scheme uses an approximated value of the CFAR which is shown as an equation as below. PFA≒IH,CA(0){1-IH,CA(0)}M-1].

Abstract: 이 발명은 충격성 잡음 감쇄 채널에서 가장 비슷함을 바탕으로 최적 갈퀴수신기를 이끌어 내고, 약한 신호일 때 최적의 성능을 보이는 준최적 갈퀴수신기를 얻어 수신기의 얼개를 간단히 할 수 있는 기법에 관한 것이다. 이 기법은 초광대역 다중접속 시스템에서 잡음이 충격성일 때 매우 쓸모가 있다. 잡음이 충격성이면 충격성 환경을 고려한 갈퀴수신기가 정규 잡음에 최적화된 갈퀴수신기보다 성능이 좋다.

Abstract: A novel maximum likelihood decoding method suitable for a multi-input multi-output system is provided to be capable of suggesting a signal decoder which obtains the most similar explanation by finding grating points hidden in a second space, and to obtain and compare bit error rate performance and average multiplying frequency of the suggested decoder and a sphere decoder through Montecarlo simulation. Through input values, output values are derived by decomposing a matrix to calculate a certain formula, and by obtaining a value with the use of a decision feedback equalization method and calculating another formula. Through another input values, the most likelihood explanation output value is derived. A threshold value is obtained by using a mathematical formula 18 and a mathematical formula 19.
