Abstract: 본 발명은 영상 투영 장치에 대한 색보정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 영상 투영 장치로 투영면에 투영한 샘플이미지를 영상 획득 장치로 촬영한 촬영이미지를 획득하는 단계와, 상기 샘플이미지의 블록의 색 값과 상기 샘플이미지의 블록에 대응하는 상기 촬영이미지의 블록의 색 값에 기반하여, 상기 촬영이미지의 각 영역에 대한 3D 색 큐브를 생성하는 단계와, 기준 3D 색 큐브를 선택하는 단계와, 상기 기준 3D 색 큐브를 기반으로 하되, 상기 각 영역에 대한 룩 업 테이블을 생성하는 단계와, 상기 룩 업 테이블을 이용하여 상기 영상 투영 장치로 투영될 입력 화상의 색을 보정하는 단계를 포함함으로써, 투영면에서의 입력 화상의 색차를 최소화할 수 있고, 보정절차를 단순화하여 신속성을 보장할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting color for an image projection device and a method thereof are provided to minimize color correction procedure, by performing color correction using one sample image in a single projection or multi projection system. CONSTITUTION: A color correction device acquires a photographing image obtained by photographing a projected sample image in which an image acquisition device is projected (S100). The color correction device generates a 3D color cube by area on the basis of a color value of a block of the sample image and a color value of the photographing image, and selects a reference 3D color cube (S120,S140). The color correction device generates a look-up table for each area on the basis of the reference 3D color cube, and corrects the color of an input image by using the look-up table (S160,S180).
