Abstract:
본 발명은 충돌 타입의 식별 기능을 갖는 RFID 리더 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로, RF 통신부에 수신된 신호의 데이터를 분석하여 수신신호의 충돌발생 여부를 확인하고, 해당 RFID 리더와 다른 RFID 리더 또는 태그 중 충돌 발생 수단에 따른 충돌 타입을 진단하여 대응하는 충돌 해결 동작을 수행하도록 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, RFID 리더와 태그 사이에서 발생되는 모든 타입의 충돌에 대한 식별이 가능하므로, 충돌 발생 원인을 빠르게 인지할 수 있어 충돌 발생 원인에 대처할 수 있게 된다. 또한, RFID 리더를 구비한 모바일 어플리케이션에서 충돌이 감지된 경우, 해당 충돌 타입에 대응하는 충돌 제어를 처리함으로써, 이미 시작된 인벤토리 라운드(inventory round)를 성공적으로 종료할 수 있는 이점이 있다.

The present invention relates to a loop antenna. The loop antenna according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a first loop and a second loop which are composed of respective conductive lines. At this time, the second loop is composed of a dual loop with current paths of opposite directions. The second loop partially crosses the first loop. A first voltage source and a second voltage source alternatively supply feeding signals to the first loop and the second loop.

PURPOSE: A tag transmission device and a method thereof are provided to improve bandwidth efficiency in a passive RFID system. CONSTITUTION: A data memory (110) stores data of articles on which an identifier of a tag and the tag are attached. A packet forming unit (120) outputs tag data stored in the data memory to a multiplexer (140). A preamble signal generator (130) generates a preamble indicating the start of a packet and delivers the preamble to the multiplexer. A demultiplexer converts serial data into multiple parallel data and outputs the data. A square wave generator generates a square wave of respectively set frequencies and outputs the square wave to a multiplier (170). The multiplier multiplies a sub-carrier of the corresponding square wave by the parallel data inputted from the demultiplexer and outputs to each load modulator (180). The load modulator modulates the sub-carrier multiplied by the parallel data and outputs through a tag antenna (190). The tag antenna outputs a signal of the sub-carrier modulated by the load modulator. PURPOSE: A preamble detector for a data encoding desorption signal is provided to effectively detect preambles which is defined in a half bit. CONSTITUTION: A correlation apparatus(410) calculates a correlation between reference signals which maintain an input signal during a half bit. A sampling apparatus(420) samples a correlation result in the half bit. A code determination unit determines the code of the sampled correlation results. A code storage unit stores the determined code. A signal comparison unit calculates a correlation between a preamble code and the stored code. 수동형 RFID 환경에서 coherent 신호 검출을 위한 RFID 리더 복조 장치 및 복조 방법이 개시된다. 구체적으로, 본 발명의 일 양상에 따라 태그 신호에 포함된 DC 오프셋 왜곡 잡음을 제거하고, DC 오프셋 왜곡 잡음이 제거된 태그 신호에서 캐리어 신호를 제거한 후, coherent detection을 위한 위상 정보를 검출한다. 따라서 송신 에너지에 의해 태그 신호에 왜곡이 발생하더라도 유효한 태그 정보를 효율적으로 추출하는 것이 가능하다. PURPOSE: A correlator used in a phase jitter modulation of a demodulation apparatus is provided to obtain an optimal performance in a BER(bit error rate) view point by considering a phase jitter modulation property. CONSTITUTION: A correlator(100) comprises a template(110) and an extractor(120). The template has a set value of a standard sampling about the modulated signal of a phase jitter modulation system. An extractor extracts a consistency rate value which expresses the degree of the consistency by comparing the modulation signal of a sampled phase jitter modulation method.

PURPOSE: An RFID reader demodulating device in an RFID environment and a method thereof are provided to exactly detect tag information. CONSTITUTION: A DC offset canceling device(410) removes DC offset distortion noise. A sub carrier digital demodulating unit(418) demodulates a sub carrier by removing the sub carrier. A matched filter(406) restricts noise component. A level determining device(412) removes low noise. A low pass filter(414) generates a baseband signal.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An item management system using near-field RFID are provided to accurately recognize and manage plural individual products close to each other by providing uniform near-field distribution. CONSTITUTION: A tag(110) includes a tag antenna and a tag chip and is attached to an individual product, and a conductive pattern layer for a tag antenna is formed on a film substrate. A first slot is prepared in the conductive pattern layer. The first slot is used for the impedance matching and emission field control with the tag chip. An RFID reader reads out the information from the tag, and a reader antenna(120) performs the communication with the RFID reader and is installed inside a shelf(10).
