Abstract: An apparatus for opening and closing a glove box of a vehicle is provided to separate a knob unit from a key set unit on a glove box cover to enhance the contact feeling of a user for a pressing button. An open switch to open a glove box housing(400) and a locking switch to lock the glove box housing are separated from each other on the edge of a fitting line(310). The glove box cover includes a knob unit(100) and a key set unit(200). The knob unit interacts with an operational cable to open the glove box housing. The key set unit restricts the operation of the knob unit. The knob unit includes a press button(110), a rack bar, and an operating bar. The press button is exposed to the glove box cover. The rack bar extends to the glove box cover.

Abstract: A device for locking a door in a tray for automobile is provided to improve creditability of locking operation and maximize overlap rate of a ratchet by separately controlling manipulation forces of the ratchet from an operating button. A device for locking a door in a tray for automobile comprises an operating button(11), a rotary structure, and a ratchet(14). The operating button of push-open type separated from a door(200) is integrated with a tray cover(110) of a tray. The rotation structure as a linked operating part executes locking operation of the ratchet to be engaged by the operating button. The ratchet is locked or unlocked on a locking groove of the door by operation of the linked operating part. The rotation structure consists of a rotation part, a vertical driving part, and an engaged part. The rotation part has torsion springs inserted into two sides. The vertical driving part supported by the torsion springs is attached to the operating button. The engaged part is projected to the corresponding direction with the operation direction of the operating button.
