Abstract: PURPOSE: A walking assistant device is provided to enable a user to more conveniently walk and to assist the walking of the user. CONSTITUTION: A walking assistant device comprises a controller(10), a sensor unit(20), a power supply unit(30), an interface unit(40), and a driving unit(50). The controller is composed of a main processor unit and realizes an algorithm for controlling speed according to a driving mode and a walking mode. The sensor unit uses an ultrasonic sensor. The power supply unit supplies power source for the drive of the walking assistant device. The interface unit visually displays the information for the operation and drive of the walking assistant device. The driving unit transfers the walking assistant device. The sensor unit produces distance value between the upper body of a user and an upper body sensor.

Abstract: 본 발명은 보행 보조장치로서, 특히 거동이 불편한 노인이나 재활 치료를 받는 환자들의 보행들 돕기 위한 전동식 보행 보조장치에 관한 것이다.
상술한 바와 같은 본 발명에 따른 보행 보조장치에 의하면, 사용자는 필요에 따라 보조장치의 발판을 펴서 그 위에 탑승하여 이동할 수도 있고, 발판을 접은 상태에서 보조장치를 밀면서 이동함으로써 재활운동을 병행할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
