    Abstract: PURPOSE: A fixing bracket of a fuel pipe for a vehicle is provided to prevent lowering of performance and a fire by restricting crack of the fuel pipe and leakage of fuel, and to improve freedom of design of the pipe by installing the bracket conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pipe fixing bracket is composed of a rubber member(20) having a pipe through hole(22); a first bracket(30) having an installation end(32); and a second bracket(40) bent to insert the rubber member to the first bracket. The second bracket has an installation hole(42) combined with the installation end, and a supporting end(46). A fuel pipe is inserted to the pipe through hole of the rubber member, and the rubber member is placed in the fuel pipe. The rubber member is pressed between the first bracket and the second bracket, and the installation end of the first bracket is inserted to the installation hole of the second bracket. The fixing hole of the first bracket is integrated with the fixing hole of the second bracket. The pipe is installed firmly, and the bracket is moved easily. Crack of the fuel pipe and leakage of fuel are prevented with fixing the fuel pipe by the rubber member and the bracket.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A cooling water preheating method of a diesel engine is provided to improve the heating performance of a diesel engine in winter and to prevent a battery from being discharged by raising temperatures with preheated cooling water according to the working state of other devices in winter. CONSTITUTION: A start switch of a vehicle is turned on, and the working state of various temperature sensors is checked(S1,S2). Reference temperature elements are set from the normal temperature sensors(S3). A starting time(Ts) of a cooling water heater is set according to the set reference temperature elements(S4). A glow plug is turned on to preheat the air in a pre-combustion chamber(S5). If the glow plug is inoperative, a blow fan switch is turned(S6). The cooling water heater is operated to raise the temperature of cooling water(S8) if battery voltage is higher than 11V(S7). The heater is operated during the set starting time. Finally, the preheating of cooling water is stopped when the working time of the heater exceeds the set time. The temperature of cooling water rises up in winter, considering drive conditions of a vehicle. Therefore, the normal working time of a heater for a diesel engine is shortened and heating performance is enhanced.
