Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a propylene ethylene 1-butene terpolymer wherein:(i) the content of ethylene derived units ranges from 1.1 wt % to 1.9 wt %, (ii) the content of 1-butene ranges from 5.0 wt % to 9.0 wt %, (iii) the melting point (Tm) of the non-nucleated terpolymer ranges from 125° C. to 137° C.; and (iv) the xylene soluble fraction at 25° C. is lower than 8.0 wt %.

Abstract: A propylene, ethylene, 1-butene terpolymer made from or containing a) from about 1.8 wt % to about 5.9 wt % of ethylene derived units; and b) from about 2.0 wt % to about 4.5 wt % of 1 butene derived units; and having i) a ratio of C2 wt %/C4 wt % in the range from about 0.9 to about 1.3; wherein C2 wt % is the weight percent of ethylene derived units and C4 wt % is the weight percent of 1-butene derived units; ii) a Melt flow rate (determined according to ISO 1133 230° C., 2.16 kg) in the range from about 1.0 to about 30.0 g/10 min; and iii) a xylene soluble fraction at 25° C. between about 10 wt % and about 30 wt %. The weight percentages are based upon the total weight of the terpolymer.

Abstract: The present technology relates to films or sheets comprising a layer of a heterophasic propylene copolymer containing up to 7.0% by weight of ethylene-derived units and comprising: (a) 80%-92% by weight of a matrix phase comprising a propylene homopolymer or a propylene copolymer containing up to 5% by weight of units derived from ethylene and/or an alpha-olefin; and (b) 8%-20% by weight of a rubber phase comprising an ethylene-propylene copolymer containing 20%-60% by weight of ethylene-derived units.

Abstract: A propylene polymer composition made from or containing: a) from about 40 wt % to about 80 wt % of a propylene 1-hexene copolymer containing from about 5.5 to about 9.0% by weight, based upon the total weight of the propylene 1-hexene copolymer, of 1-hexene derived units and having a Melt Flow Rate (MFR, measured according to ASTM D 1238 at 230° C., with a load of 2.16 kg) from about 3.5 to about 12.0 g/10 min; and b) from about 20 wt % to about 60 wt % of a propylene ethylene copolymer containing from about 1.5 wt % to about 6.5 wt % based upon the total weight of the propylene ethylene copolymer, of ethylene derived units, and having a Melt Flow Rate (MFR, measured according to ASTM D 1238, at 230° C., with a load of 2.16 kg) from about 3.5 to about 12.0 g/10 min; the sum of a) and b) being 100.
