The invention relates to compositions for treating hard surfaces and containing a water-soluble or water-dispersible compound, as constituent A, that can be obtained by the reaction of aa) polyalkylene polyamines, polyamidoamines, polyamidoamines grafted by ethyleneimine, polyetheramines, and mixtures of the cited compounds, as constituent Aa; ab) optionally at least bifunctional crosslinkers that comprise, as a functional group, a halogenhydrine, glycidyl, aziridine or isocyanate unit, or a halogen atom, as constituent Ab; ac) monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, salts, esters, amides or nitriles of monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, chorocarboxylic acids and/or glycidyl compounds such as glycidyl acid, glycidyl amide or glycidyl esters; and water. The invention also relates to a method for producing a water-soluble or water-dispersible compound, water-soluble or water-dispersible compounds that can be produced according to the inventive mehtod, and the use of water-soluble or water-dispersible compounds according to the invention in compositions for treating hard surfaces, for rapid drying without marks, for simplifying the removal of dirt, for reducing or preventing the condensation of water, and/or for forming dried water marks on the hard surfaces.

The invention relates to the use of homopolymers or copolymers of (meth)acrylic acid or copolymers of C 3 -C 40 monoolefins with ethylenically unsaturated C 4 -C 6 dicarboxylic acid anhydrides as additives in ceramic materials, especially in clay, in order to produce ceramic construction materials, such as bricks and roofing tiles as well as ceramic materials containing said additives.

The present invention relates to a chemical composition comprising (a) a glycoside component A comprising at least one glycoside of the formula R(OG)x wherein R is an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 25 carbon atoms or is a radical of formula R 1 (OR 2 ) m which does not have more than 25 carbon atoms and wherein n = 0 to 24 and R 1 and R 2 are aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals; G is the residue of a saccharide moiety selected from the group consisting of fructose, glucose, mannose, galactose, talose, gulose, allose, altrose, idose, arabinose, xylose, lyxose, ribose and alkoxylated derivatives thereof; and x is 1 to 30; (b) an aspartate component B comprising at least one polymerisation product of aspartic acid, optionally in form of a copolymerisate with fatty acids, polybasic carboxylic acids, anhydrides of polybasic carboxylic acids, polybasic hydroxycarboxylic acids, monobasic polyhydroxycarboxylic acids, alkoxylated alcohols, alkoxylated amines, amino sugars, carbohydrates, sugar carboxylic acids and polymers thereof. The invention relates to cleaner formulations and to the use of said cleaner formulations for preventing plastic articles from discoloring when cleaned in a dishwasher. The cleaner formulations comprise the following components: a) copolymers containing a1) 10 to 60 % by weight of at least one monomer component (A) from the group of the monoethylenically unsaturated C3-C10 mono- or dicarboxylic acids or the anhydrides thereof; a2) 40 to 90 % by weight of at least one monomer component (B) of the general formula (I), wherein R , R and R independently represent H, CH3, C2H5, C3H7, COOH or OH, Y represents -C(=O)-, -C(=O)-O-, -O-, -O-C(=O)-, -O-C(=O)-O- or -C(=O)-NH-, n equals 0 or 1, R is a linear or branched, cyclic or acyclic aliphatic group with 7 to 100 carbon atoms; and a3) 0 to 30 % by weight of at least one further monomer component (C) that can be copolymerized with the monomer components (A) and (B) and that is selected from the group consisting of C1-C6 (meth)acrylic esters, C1-C6 vinylethers, C2-C8 olefins, styrenes, acrylnitriles, acrylamides, vinylformamides, allylalcohols, vinylphosphonates, vinyl-substituted heterocycles and unsaturated organosulfonic acids; b) a bleaching system that comprises at least one component of the group consisting of bleaching agents, bleaching activators and bleaching catalysts.
