Abstract: 1.- Un método para combatir plagas animales, caracterizado porque comprende contactar las plagas animales, su hábitat, lugar de reproducción, suministro de alimentos, planta, semilla, suelo, área, material o entorno en los cuales las plagas animales crecen o pueden crecer, o los materiales, plantas, semillas, suelos, superficies o espacios que desean protegerse del ataque de animales o la infestación con una cantidad efectiva como plaguicida de por lo menos una 6-halógeno-[1,2,4]-triazolo[1,5-a]pirimidina de fórmula general I en la cual X es halógeno;R1 es hidrógeno, halógeno, OH, CN, alquilo C1-C10, haloalquilo C1-C10, alcoxi C1-C10, alcoxi C1-C6-alquilo C1-C6, alcoxi C1-C4-alcoxi C1-C4, alcoxi C1-C4-alcoxi C1-C4-alcoxi C1-C4, alquiltio C1-C10, alquilsulfinilo C1-C10, alquilsulfonilo C1-C10, alquilamino C1-C10, di(alquil C1-C10)amino, alquenilo C2-C10, fenilo, fenoxi, benciloxi, alqueniloxi C2-C10, alquiniloxi C2-C10 o alquinilo C2-C10, en los cuales alquiltio C1-C10, alquilsulfinilo C1-C10 y alquilsulfonilo C1-C10 pueden estar sustituidos en forma completa o parcial o no estar sustituidos con halógeno y/o pueden transportar un grupo seleccionado de alcoxi C1-C4, alcoxi C1-C4carbonilo o COOH;R2 es alquilo C1-C10, haloalquilo C1-C10, alcoxi alquilo C1-C6, cicloalquilo C3-C10, alquenilo C2-C10 o alquinilo C2-C10;R3 es hidrógeno, alquilo C1-C10, haloalquilo C1-C10, alcoxi alquilo C1-C6, C1-C10-alquilcarbonilo, alcoxi C1-C10carbonilo o arilcarbonilo;R4 es cicloalquilo C3-C10, fenilo, naftilo, heterociclilo de 3 a 7 miembros o un radical de fórmula -A-R4a, siendo posible que el cicloalquilo C3-C10, fenilo, naftilo y heterociclilo de 3 a 7 miembros estén sustituidos o sean portadores de 1, 2 o 3 radicales que se seleccionan, en forma independiente unos de otros, del grupo formado por halógeno, ciano, nitro, hidroxi, alquilo C1-C10, alcoxi C1-C10, haloalquilo C1-C10, haloalcoxi C1-C10, amino, alquilamino C1-C10, di(alquil C1-C10)amino, alquiltio C1-C10, alquilsulfinilo C1-C10, alquilsulfonilo C1-C10, cicloalquilo C3-C8, cicloalquil C3-C8-alquilo C1-C4, fenilo, fenil-alcoxi C1-C4 y feniloxi, ...

Abstract: The present invention relates to new hydrazide compounds which are useful for combating animal pests, in particular insects, arachnids and nematodes and to the salts thereof. The invention also relates to a method for combating insects, nematodes and arachnids. The hydrazide compounds of the invention are described by the general formula (I) wherein .. is absent or a covalent bond; A is an optionally substituted cyclic radical selected from phenyl, naphthyl and a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic radical with 1 to 4 heteroatoms which are selected, independently of one another, from O, N and S, the 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic radical may have a carbonyl group as ring member; Q is selected from the group consisting of a single bond, C 1 -C 4 alkylidene, O-C 1 -C 4 alkylidene, S-C 1 -C 4 alkylidene and NR 9 -C 1 -C 4 alkylidene, wherein the alkylidene group in the last four mentioned radicals is unsubstituted or carries 1, 2, 3 or 4 substituents selected from OH, =O, halogen, C 1 -C 4 haloalkyl and C 1 -C 4 alkoxy; or A-Q may together be C 1 -C 10 -alkyl, which may be substituted by 1 or 2 substituents selected from the group consisting of =O, OH, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy, C 1 -C 4 -alkylthio, halogen or C 1 -C 4 -alkylcarbonyloxy, X is C=O, C=S or SO 2 ; Ar is an optionally substituted aromatic radical selected from phenyl, naphthyl, pyridyl, pyrimidyl, furyl and thienyl; and R 1 to R 6 and R 9 are as described in the claims and the specification.
