    Abstract: Irreversible optical recording medium is based on a substrate with texturised surface and a metal or semiconductor film with an optical absorption of 5-95% and thickness of 10-50 nm.     Abstract: For the purpose of quasi-isothermal catalytic conversion of SO2 into SO3, a plurality of rows of cooling-tube bundles (bunches) (6) disposed behind one another are arranged in such a way in the catalyst bed (2) of a contact vessel (1), that the bundles of successive rows are arranged so as to be offset with respect to those of preceding rows. The spacing of the cooling tubes in the bundles (6) is selected in such a way that virtually no entire catalyst bodies penetrate into the bundles. The bundles are designed in such a way that the pressure drop (pressure head loss) of the gas in the bundles (6) corresponds approximately to the pressure drop in the catalyst layer (2) between the bundles. The spacing (5, 5a-5c) of the bundles is no greater than the width of the bundles (6).

The material is prepd. by coating (I) with a polymer dispersion, hardening this and then applying (III). The material is exposed with light of wavelength 200 nm to 2 microns and an incident radiation energy of at least 0.1 J/cm2.
