Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing an aqueous dispersion of microparticles containing a water-insoluble, solid, non-polymeric, organic active or functional material (M) and an aminoplast resin (A) which surrounds or embeds material (M), which comprises the following steps: i) providing an aqueous slurry of the material (M) in the form of coarse particles; ii) subjecting the aqueous slurry to shear forces such that the coarse particles of the material (M) are comminuted and an aqueous suspension of fine particles of the material (M) is obtained; iii) performing a polycondensation of an aminoplast pre-condensate during step (ii) or in the aqueous suspension of the fine particles of the material (M) obtained in step (ii); wherein step (ii) is performed in the presence of at least one protective colloid and in the presence of at least a portion of the aminoplast pre-condensate subjected to the polycondensation of step (iii).

Abstract: In a process for workup of a crude ester comprising esterification catalyst hydrolysis product in suspended particulate form, a) the crude ester is admixed in an emulsifying tank with 1% to 10% by weight of water and the water is emulsified in the crude ester to obtain a suspoemulsion, b) the suspoemulsion from the emulsifying tank is transferred to an agglomerating tank containing an initial charge of water-undersaturated crude ester, such that a water content below the solubility limit of water in the crude ester is established in the mixture of the suspoemulsion and the initial charge of crude ester, as a result of which the suspended particulate esterification catalyst hydrolysis products form stable agglomerates, and c) the agglomerates formed are filtered off.

Abstract: Procedimiento para procesar un ester bruto, que contiene producto de hidrolisis del catalizador de esterificacion en forma de particulas en suspension, en el que a) se mezcla el ester bruto en una caldera emulsionante con del 1 al 10 % en peso de agua y el agua se emulsiona en el ester bruto obteniendo una suspoemulsion, b) la suspoemulsion se transfiere desde la caldera emulsionante a una caldera aglomerante con el ester bruto insuficientemente saturado en agua cargado inicialmente, de manera que en la mezcla de la suspoemulsion y del ester bruto cargado inicialmente se ajusta un contenido de agua por debajo del limite de solubilidad del agua en el ester bruto, mediante lo cual los productos de hidrolisis del catalizador de esterificacion en particulas en suspension forman aglomerados estables, y c) los aglomerados formados se eliminan por filtracion.

Abstract: Un proceso para preparar una dispersión acuosa de microcápsulas que contienen un material orgánico sólido, seleccionado de compuestos agrícolas activos, y una resina de aminoplasto que rodea o incrusta el material sólido, el cual comprende los siguientes pasos: i. proporcionar una suspensión acuosa de un material sólido en forma de partículas gruesas, ii. someter la suspensión acuosa a fuerzas de cizallamiento para desmenuzar las partículas gruesas, mediante lo cual se obtiene una suspensión acuosa de partículas finas del material orgánico sólido; iii) realizar una policondensación de un precondensado de aminoplasto en la suspensión acuosa obtenida en la etapa ii.; en donde la molienda de la etapa ii. se realiza en presencia de al menos un coloide protector y al menos una parte del precondensado de aminoplasto sometido a la policondensación de la etapa iii.
