    Abstract: PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a soundproof damping material by bonding rubber piece aggregate obtained by grinding a waste tire by a binder composed of natural rubber latex. CONSTITUTION:Rubber piece aggregate is obtained by grinding a waste tire so that 95wt.% or more thereof has the max. diameter within the range of 1-20mm. Natural rubber latex is dripped on the rubber piece aggregate to wet the entire surface of the rubber piece aggregate. Subsequently, the wetted rubber piece aggregate is dried to bond a natural rubber film to the surfaces of rubber pieces. This rubber piece aggregate is charged in a mold at a point of time when adhesion is advancing to be bonded under pressure of 50kg/cm to obtain a soundproof damping material wherein many voids A are provided between rubber pieces. This damping material develops the behavior of an air spring by the volumetric change of voids A due to compression and shows effective vibration absorbing properties and is enhanced in its soundproof effect by the voids A. Therefore, a soundproof damping material can inexpensively be produced and shows excellent damping capacity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability, by specifying a thickness of a base rubber in a direction of normal line of the outermost belt layer in a prescribed area from the center of the maximum width made contact with the ground and specifying property of a base rubber, a cap rubber and a belt covering rubber in the captioned tire for an aircraft or the like. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a base rubber layer 4 is set to 10-35% of the total thickness of a base rubber layer 4 and a cap rubber layer 5 with respect to lines N2-N4 normal to the belt layer 3 of the outermost layer within the area of 0.35 times-0.525 times of the maximum width W made contact with the ground. A tangent loss at a normal temperature after curing is set at 0.17 or less to the base rubber layer 4, at 0.22 or less to the cap rubber layer 5 and at 0.15 to the rubber covering the belt 3. The 100% modulus of the base rubber layer 4 is set to 60-80% of the cap rubber layer 5 and 40-70% of the belt covering rubber. With this arrangement, durability property at the time of a high speed traveling and overloading is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the subject coating large in slipping friction resistance, namely high in safety even in rainy days or on frozen roads, and useful for road marks by adding powder rubber to a coating in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION: This coating, preferably a thermally meltable coating, is produced by adding 0.1-10 pts.wt. of powder rubber (preferably having a particle diameter of 0.1-2mm) to 100 pts.wt. of a coating. The powder rubber is preferably produced e.g. by removing organic fibers such as nylon fibers or polyester fibers or steel cords used as a reinforcing material from wasted tires, and subsequently mechanically grinding the left rubber. The coating preferably contains a polyamide resin, etc., as a skeleton resin, tale, etc., as a filler, and glass beads having a diameter of approximately 1mm, etc., as a light-reflecting material.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title tire improved in abrasion resistance on a good road and improved also in partial abrasion resistance, by mixing a stock rubber with a specified carbon black, a specified bismaleimide compound and sulfur each in a specified range of amount and specifying the resiliency in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The title tire wherein tread rubber comprises a rubber composition prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. stock rubber comprising 50-100pts.wt. natural rubber or natural rubber/isobutyrene mixture and 50-0pt.wt. styrene/ butadiene rubber and/or butadiene rubber with 0.5-3pts.wt. bismaleimide compound (A) of the formula (wherein R is a 2-6C alkylene, phenylene, naphthylene or tolylene), 0.5-2pts.wt. sulfur (B) and 40-60pts.wt. carbon black (C) of a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N2SA) of 110-150m /g and a compressed dibutyl phthalate absorption (DBP value) of 100-130ml/100g, and the resiliency of a sample of the tread rubber sampled from a vulcanized tire is 48-57%. This tire is improved in abrasion resistance in running on a good road and partial abrasion resistance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the low temperature durability of a pneumatic tire reinforced with an organic fabric cord and used in a low temperature environment by applying a tan delta peak temperature of a specific value or less to the covering rubber of the reinforcement cord after vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:A tan delta peak temperature is set to -40 deg.C or below for the covering rubber of an organic fabric cord after vulcanization. For this purpose, a rubber of low glass-transition temperature such as a natural rubber, a synthetic isoprene rubber and a high sheath butadiene rubber is used as rubber material. In some cases, a low temperature plasticizer well compatible with a rubber, for example, dioctyl sebacate is mixed with the rubber material. Also, a softening temperature for the rubber material is taken at -20 deg.C or below. Furthermore, a bismaleimide compound mixed with the covering rubber by an amount, for example, 0.5 to 10 percent by weight causes an increase in resistance against separation. Accordingly, the durability of a tire at a low temperature can be enhanced.
