Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating a Web page including secure information and to provide a system to execute the method and a computer- readable recording medium. SOLUTION: The method for generating a Web page having secure information includes a step where linking at least one pair of related field names assembles a 1st linked string, a step where encrypting the 1st linked string produces an encrypted string, a step where encoding the encrypted string generates a displayable character string, a step where the displayable character string is related to a name, and a step where the name and the displayable character string are allocated in an HTML source code.

Abstract: A method for selecting data storage media for demount in an automated storage library, and an automated storage library and program product therefor are disclosed. Preemptive demount of storage media is permitted when all peripheral storage devices in the library are occupied and one or more of such devices remains inactive for a predetermined time. Storage media may be demounted to service existing mount requests, provided the peripheral storage devices in which the media are mounted are inactive. There is also a need, however, to ensure the availability of an empty device to service future mount requests, particularly in libraries having only a single gripper mechanism. Thus, even when no mount requests are pending, the status of the peripheral storage devices is continually monitored. If the peripheral storage devices are all occupied, and one or more of such devices remains inactive for the predetermined time, the least recently used storage medium is demounted and transferred to a storage cell in the library.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for resize handle display management in a graphical user interface (GUI). In an embodiment of the invention, a method for resize handle display management in a GUI is provided. The method includes receiving a directive to display a resize handle for each resizable GUI control in a window, such as by way of a keyboard shortcut. The method additionally includes determining each resizable GUI control in the window, including any separators that separate two resizable regions of a window. Finally, the method includes displaying the window with at least one resize handle for each determined resizable GUI control in the window.

Abstract: A method that can provide for efficient usage of screen real estate by controlling the display of graphical user interface objects. The method includes the step of identifying a selected part (405) or parts of a first GUI object (400) associated with an application program. Creating a second GUI object (410) that includes a visual representation of the selected parts (405) of the first object. The second GUI object is displayed on the display screen (200) so as to automatically replace the first GUI object. Detected user interactions with the second GUI object (410) are mapped to instructions to the first application program. This step of replacing the first GUI object may involve assigning the first object to coordinate space that is outside a display area of the display screen or graphics buffer. User interactions may then be mapped to a location within the first GUI objects assigned coordinate space that is outside the display area of the display screen.
