PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting answer to digital contents released in a plurality of servers. SOLUTION: The system has means for: inquiring a database which records network addresses of the digital contents and release periods in each of the plurality of servers by associating them with identifiers of the digital contents; accepting input of information regarding the network addresses of the digital contents browsed by a client and time when the digital contents are browsed; specifying the network addresses of the digital contents based on the information regarding the network addresses; using the release periods of the digital contents based on the specified network addresses and browsing time to specify the identifiers of the digital contents and for presenting one or more answer templates associated with the identifiers of the digital contents. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain detail information related with a part interested by a user in web contents without making it necessary for a user to operate any clear input. SOLUTION: In an information extracting system equipped with a server and a client connected through a communication network, the server provides a data file to be offered for reading to the client, and the client is provided with a browser for displaying the contents of the data file received from the server through the communication network, an operation event analyzing part 20 for detecting a preliminarily decided specific operation based on an input operation performed by a user at the time of reading the contents of the data file displayed by the browser, and a text extracting part 30 for extracting information displayed at the place where the specific operation is performed on the display screen of the browser detected by the operation event analyzing part 20.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the assistance preparation work load by describing assistance to be applied to a user in a Web on-line form on the basis of a rule. SOLUTION: The Web server 1 for providing an on-line form to a Web browser 2 of a client through a network 10 is provided with a form logic structure 3 defining the form structure and describing defined form structure, a style file 4 describing style information for generating a form allowed to be inputted by a user of the client on the basis of the form structure, an assistance rule file 5 describing a rule for aiding user's input, and a form generation module 6 for generating a form with assistance on the basis of the form structure, the style information and the rule.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a storage device and facilitate the restoration of a file to a version of a specified date/time. SOLUTION: A backup system includes a backup file generation part 21 for generating and storing backup files in a first storage device 10b at set time intervals, a difference data acquisition part 22 for storing difference data in a second storage device 10c in response to file changes, a backup file retrieval part 23 for reading out the backup file generated just before a date/time specified by a user from the first storage device 10b, a difference data retrieval part 24 for reading out the difference data between the date/time associated with the backup file read and the specified date/time from the second storage device 10c, and a version generation part 25 for reflecting the changes included in the difference data in the backup file in time order to generate the version of the file of the specified date/time. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article delivery method and system, etc., capable of securing the privacy of customer and improving the convenience. SOLUTION: A commodity ordered to an electronic shop by a customer is delivered to a locker L designated by the customer without using the personal information on the customer, who visits this locker L to receiver the commodity. In the case of delivery, a deliverer unlocks the housing box B of the designated locker L to house the commodity by using a password for delivery previously given from a transaction server 30, and locks the box B thereafter. When the customer receives the commodity, the box B of the locker 1 storing the commodity is unlocked to receive the commodity by using a password for reception set in advance.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automatic execution system/method for recording/ reproducing an operation on a web browser. SOLUTION: An event recording/reproduction program is read into a browser and the browser displaying contents is started. A page where an event handler collecting information required for event recording/reproduction is buried is read into the browser displaying the contents. An event is generated by following the event handler in accordance with the browser operation of a user in the browser displaying the contents (830). The event generated by the event recording/reproduction program is recorded and the recorded event is read by the event recording/reproduction program. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a dedicated browser by displaying a control panel for customizing operation by a program and customizing a web page through user's customizing operation using the control panel. SOLUTION: A desired page to be customized is requested from a user computer through a proxy server (1), which embeds a program for requested page customization (6), so that a browser on a computer displays the page wherein the program is embedded. The program displays the control panel for customizing operation and through user's customizing operation using the control panel, the page is customized. Consequently, the user can freely add and erase objects on an existent web page and the need for a dedicated browser is eliminated.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To advance a conference in real time by sharing an application program by all terminal equipments in a matched state even though activation is not performed or it is during execution. CONSTITUTION: By the instruction of a keyboard 26i, a shared application registration part 56i reads and loads one common application. Then, the address of a module and an initialization routine loaded to the shared application are entered to a shared application table 62i. Then, the registration part 56i calls the read common application and the initialization routine, obtains the address of a call-back routine corresponding to a conference event and enters it to a call-back routine table 64i. The processing is performed for all the shared applications. Thus, a conference control part 42i defines a conference state as the conference event, informs a common application part 44i of it and thus, keeps a consistent state.
