Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a pointing object display technique capable of operating a pointing object without being conscious of timewise deviation on display between the sites of a distributed computing environment. CONSTITUTION: With the timewise deviation of what degree a receiver side receives the pointing object is confirmed by displaying an auxiliary pointing object on the screen of a sender side, the timewise deviation on the display is absorbed and thus, the burdens of a user are reduced and smooth information transmission is made possible. Also, the timewise deviation on the display is considered on the receiver side, the position of the pointing object of the sender side at present is predicted and the pointing object is displyed on the screen of the receiver side at the predicted position.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To advance a conference in real time by sharing an application program by all terminal equipments in a matched state even though activation is not performed or it is during execution. CONSTITUTION: By the instruction of a keyboard 26i, a shared application registration part 56i reads and loads one common application. Then, the address of a module and an initialization routine loaded to the shared application are entered to a shared application table 62i. Then, the registration part 56i calls the read common application and the initialization routine, obtains the address of a call-back routine corresponding to a conference event and enters it to a call-back routine table 64i. The processing is performed for all the shared applications. Thus, a conference control part 42i defines a conference state as the conference event, informs a common application part 44i of it and thus, keeps a consistent state.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle indices of a plurality of activities, in a unified manner, such as writing of a blog, reading of a news, and reading of a massage in an online community such as an SNS.
SOLUTION: The actions of a single or a plurality of users online are accumulated together with text information used in accordance with the actions, to generate data used for extracting and matching taste. Thus, analyzing of action/taste of a user which has been performed based on one-dimensional information so far can be performed from two observation points, or action and taste, or from the observation point of integration of them, allowing analysis of action/taste with more information quantity. The data format by which the action of user along with text information are accumulated is called as action matrix for convenience. The action matrix is such a matrix as consists of action of a user and a keyword extracted from the text used with the action. In each element, a value based on the appearance frequency of keywords accumulated upto a certain time point is inputted.
