    Abstract: 교통표지판인식하드웨어구현을위한영역분할방법이제공된다. 본발명의실시예에따른영역분할장치는, 유효픽셀의라벨값을저장하는제1 버퍼, 라벨길이를저장하는제2 버퍼및 유효픽셀의라벨값을제1 버퍼에저장하고라벨길이를제2 버퍼에저장하며, 제1 버퍼와라벨값과제2 버퍼에저장된라벨길이를참조로현재유효픽셀의라벨을결정하는라벨링부를포함한다. 이에의해, 반복연산을사용하지않아픽셀별처리가가능한방법으로하드웨어구조에적합한형태를제시할수 있다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A low complexity variable order short-term predictor for forming an MPEG-4 ALS VLSI is provided to reduce complexity when MPEG-4 ALS hardware is formed. CONSTITUTION: A pre-determining block(110) generates a modified prediction order in response to an inputted prediction order value. A loop controller(120) determines the numbers of repetition and flag signals in response to the modified prediction order value. An FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter(160) receives a sampled signal. A pipeline stall is applied to the FIR filter according to radix-2 algorithm. The FIR filter filters the sampled signal. An output block(180) adds a determined result of the loop controller to a filtered output result of the FIR filter.
