A destination setting unit (901) receives setting of a destination by the user when a route from a present position to the destination is guided. A user specifying unit (902) judges whether the user who sets the destination is the user who performs program recording reservation. When the user is judged to be the user who performs program recording reservation, a keyword extracting unit (903) extracts a keyword for use in performing program recording reservation based on the destination. A keyword display unit (904) presents the user with the extracted keyword. A keyword selecting unit (905) receives selection, by the user, of the presented keyword. A program selecting unit (906) selects a program associated with the keyword. A program reservation unit (907) reserves recording of the selected program.

Provided is a gateway device connected to a bus used in communication by multiple electronic control units (ECUs) in a vehicle network system, which minimizes adverse effects on the vehicle network and which may use a determination technique taking some amount of time to determine whether or not a received frame is appropriate. A gateway 300a that forwards frames between a bus 200a and a bus 200b includes a receiving unit that receives a first frame, and a transmitting unit that, when a first frame transmitted by an ECU 100a, for example, is received from the bus 200a by the receiving unit, includes, in a second frame including information based on content of the first frame, first control information related to a restriction on processing after reception of the second frame, and transmits the second frame to the bus 200b.

In a reservation system that reserves a charger to charge a power source of an electric automobile, a control method of an information processing device is provided enabling a charger to be reserved, taking into consideration arriving at a destination earlier. The information processing device is caused to search for a charger existing within a predetermined range from a current location in a case where the battery level has been determined to have fallen below a first threshold value, and in a case where a destination has been set in the application and in a case where a plurality of searched chargers exist, to calculate a predicted charging end point-in-time at each charger, based on a predicted arrival point-in-time to each charger and the availability state and charging capability of each charger, and in a case where with the calculated predicted charging end point-in-time for each charger as the departure point-in-time from each charger, to effect control to reserve a charger of which the predicted destination arrival point-in-time is the earliest of the calculated predicted destination arrival point-in-times for each charger.

A navigation device (100) estimates a time when a user utilizing the navigation device (100) comes home, and transmits the estimated expected arrival time to a control device (203) in association with the user identifier of the user. In response to receiving the expected arrival times from a plurality of the navigation devices (100), the control device (203) transmits, to an air conditioner (201), a reservation instruction for setting the room temperature at the home to a predetermined target temperature by the estimated arrival time of the earliest user who is supposed to come home earliest. The air conditioner (201) is turned on in accordance with the transmitted reservation instruction among the users.
