    Abstract: PURPOSE:To determine an object to be measured with high sensitivity by providing an integreting sphere to a detector and arranging a liquid opaque material body having an opening for limiting a reagent applying extent on a porous film. CONSTITUTION:A photometric device S constituted in such a way that a part 3 to be tested is irradiated with light from a light source counterposed to the opening 21 of an integrating sphere and reflected light from the part 3 is introduced to the sphere 2, and then, the reflected light is detected by means of a detector 4 provided on the side face of the sphere 2 is used. Since the reflected light from the part 3 is converged to the detector 4, the quantity of detected light becomes larger and the degree of coloring can be sufficiently recognized, resulting in high-sensitivity measurement. It is preferable to constitute the sphere 2 in such a way that the internal surface is coated with a material having a high reflection efficiency and the opening 21 can be brought nearer to the part 3 as much as possible, and then, the sphere 2 can have such a diameter that does not allow other part than the part 3 to enter the opening 21. In addition a liquid opaque material body having a reagent introducing opening is arranged so as to improve the effectiveness of the device S.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To furnish a flow-through type pH electrode which can be used very effectively in a measuring system of which a pH measuring range is 0 to 14, as well. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 20 for introducing a liquid to be inspected is disposed inside a tubular member 4 having a spherical pH-sensitive glass film 8 formed in the upper end. The liquid to be inspected is introduced by the pipe 20 and made to strike against the spherical pH-sensitive glass film 8. This liquid passes through a circular passage 24 formed between the tubular member 4 and the pipe 20 and is discharged from a discharge port 18.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To exactly measure an osmotic pressure by vertically and relatively moving a sublimation nucleus and sample liquid surface to bring both into contact with each other and to freeze the sample liquid, measuring the freezing point and determining the osmotic pressure of the sample liquid in accordance with the freezing point depression degree. CONSTITUTION:The substantial sublimation nucleus is formed to the top end of a metallic rod 5 and after the sample liquid in a measuring cell 2 attains a supercooling stage, a valve 18 is opened and a pump 12 is operated to raise the sample liquid surface in the cell 2 up to the height at which said liquid surface surely contacts with the sublimation nucleuous. The sample liquid instantaneously freezes when the ice crystal angle contacts with the sample liquid in the supercooled state. The temp. of the sample liquid is increased from the supercooling temp. by the latent released at the same instant and attains the equil. temp., i.e., freezing point temp. for several seconds in the co-existence state of the ice and water; therefore the freezing point depression degree is determined by detecting such temp. The osmotic pressure is calculated by an arithmetic unit from the freezing point depression degree.
