    Abstract: Provided is a separation membrane element, wherein it is possible to increase the amount of fluid permeating per unit time and to improve stability performance. Specifically provided is a separation membrane element configured from a separation function layer on the surface, a separation membrane having a non-woven fabric functioning as a base material on the rear surface of the separation membrane, and a permeation-side passage material disposed on the rear surface side of said base material, wherein the permeation-side passage material is formed from a different material from the separation membrane, and the ratio of the projection area of the permeation-side passage material relative to the separation membrane is 0.03 to 0.80.

    Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a biaxially oriented polyester film, in particular, a biaxially oriented polyester film for molded part capable of being used suitably as a metallic molded part processed after metal deposition on a film surface and a surface protection film in forming a decorative sheet. Provided is a biaxially oriented polyester film for molded part, which is a polyester film that at least two layers of A layer composed of polyester A and B layer composed of polyester B are laminated, wherein interlayer adhesion between A layer and B layer is 5 (N/15 mm) or more, and stress at 100% elongation (F100 value, unit: MPa) at 200°C and 150°C in the longitudinal direction and transverse direction of a film is 1 to 50.

    Abstract: Provided is a composite semipermeable membrane having a polyamide separation-functional layer on a porous support layer, wherein the polyamide separation-functional layer has a yellow index of 10 to 40, and the actual length of the polyamide separation-functional layer per 1 µm-length of the porous support layer is from 2 1,tm to 5 um, or a composite semipermeable membrane having on a porous support layer a polyamide separation-functional layer prepared by polycondensat on of polyfunctional amines with polyfunctional acid halides, wherein the polyamide separation-functional layer is formed by the steps of (A) interfacial polycondensation in which polyfunctional amines and polyfunctional acid halides are brought into contact at 40°C to 70°C and subsequent (B) heat treatment at 70°C to 150°C. The composite semipermeable membrane according to the presentinvention has high boron removal performance and high water permeation performance.

    Abstract: Biaxially-drawn polyester film for fabrication which is characterized in that it is a film comprising polyester in which ethylene terephthalate units and/or ethylene naphthalate units are the chief structural component, and the melting point of said film is 180-270 DEG C, the angle of contact to water is 70 DEG -120 DEG , and the planar orientation coefficient is 0.08-0.15. This film shows outstanding release properties following repeated use, use after fabrication and use in an aqueous environment and, furthermore, it exhibits stable properties with little variation and, in particular, following lamination to metal sheet such as steel or aluminium, when used as the inner face of a fabricated metal can, it is outstanding in its non-stick properties to the contents, and provides a combination of heat resistance and processability.
