Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-shrinkage polyester yarn for the production of a cloth having excellent processability in advanced processing, bulkiness, softness and resilience as well as excellent beautifulness of the cloth surface and wearing comfortability such as light weight and heat-retaining property. SOLUTION: The objective low-shrinkage polyester slub yarn is a conjugated sheath-core fiber containing a polymer (A) composed essentially of a polyester at the sheath part and a polymer (B) having a temperature dependency of the tensile viscosity higher than that of the polymer (A) at the core part, having thick parts and thin parts continuously arranged in longitudinal direction, having partial hollow part formed by the breakage of the polymer (B) of the core part and satisfying the following requirements. Boiling water shrinkage is 4-10%, dry-heat shrinkage after the boiling water shrinking is =2.5%.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a false twist yarn excellent in stretching property capable of improving rough/firm feeling and quality of textile by blending the predetermined amount of polyethylene terephthalate to polybutylene terephthalate, spinning under a specific condition and applying a false twist processing. SOLUTION: The false twist yarn of the blended polyester having torque twisting constant =103 in the molten state, spinning in the winding speed >=2500 m/min, applying the false twisting process setting the heater temperature at 180-210 deg.C. A stretch woven fabric is preferably obtained by shrinking a fabric comprising twistless yarn or the false twist yarn of the blended polyester applied a real twisting process having real twist constant =70 deg.C.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing in high productivity the subject combined filament yarn intended for giving fabrics of excellent touch without the need of using any self-elongative filament yarn. SOLUTION: The subject combined filament yarn comprises high-elongation yarn and low-elongation yarn; wherein the high-elongation yarn consists of a sheath/core conjugate yarn composed of a polyester as the sheath and, as the core, a polymer higher in the temperature dependency of tensile viscosity than the above polyester, while the low-elongation yarn consists singly of a polyester yarn. This method for producing the above combined filament yarn comprises the following process: at least two kinds of polymers corresponding to the high-elongation yarn and the low-elongation yarn are issued (melt-spun) from an identical spinneret into an indrawn heteroelongative combined filament yarn finished with >=0.1 wt.% of a non-polyether-based lubricant, which is subsequently drawn at a draw ratio 0.40-0.50 time the breaking draw ratio of the filament yarn with the highest elongation at 90-110 deg.C followed by heat-setting the thus drawn filament yarn at 110-130 deg.C.

SOLUTION: This combined filament yarn with the difference in shrinkage comprises a low shrinkable yarn which is a special core-sheath conjugate yarn and a highly shrinkable yarn that is a polyester single yarn and the low shrinkable yarn has a partial hollow part formed by breaking a polymer arranged in the core part and further the following characteristics. The combined filament yarn with the difference in shrinkage has >=2.0% of U% unevenness of thickness in the fiber longitudinal direction. 4-10% shrinkage percentage in boiling water, =3.0% U%.
