    Abstract: Method and system for processing image returns. Embodiments of the invent ion provide for automating data flow and reporting processes connected with administrate image returns to a financial institution with multiple image pr ocessing sites. A computer-implemented method of processing a cash letter fi le identifying returned items includes obtaining an identifier for a process ing site for each item identified in the cash letter file. A separate report corresponding to each processing site as indicated by the identifier is ass embled. The report lists each returned item for the processing site. Each se parate report is forwarded to each processing site to enable the processing site to re-process just the returned items specific to the processing site. Provision is also made for automatically updated stored ledger information b ased on a cash letter settlement table.

    Abstract: A system for pushing data to a wireless data device receives an identifier f or the wireless data device and determines a corresponding gateway server by querying a mapping of wireless data device identifiers to wireless gateway servers. The system then submits a request to push the data to the wireless data device via the determined gateway server. If the gateway server rejects the request to push data to the wireless data device, the system repeatedly submits requests to push data to the wireless data device via a different gateway server until the request is accepted. The system then updates the mapping for the identifier of the wireless data device with the different gateway server which accepted the request to push data to the wireless data device.

    Abstract: An open-architecture system automatically consolidates information from a plurality of financial systems into a single accounting system without the need for expensive and time-consuming backroom procedures. The system enables an entity to use multiple independent and potentially incompatible financial systems to facilitate, control and monitor its spending, purchasing and other financial activitives, while also enabling the entity to monitor and control all of these activities in real time.     Abstract: The present invention provides a method for inhibiting corrosion and elastomer swelling and degradation caused by alcohol and alcohol-containing fuels and for increasing lubricity of alcohol or alcohol-containing fuels, comprising the step of adding to alcohol or alcohol-containing fuels, a fuel additive comprising one or more reaction products of a carboxylic acid or acid chloride selected from the group consisting of unsubstituted aromatic carboxylic acids, aliphatic carboxylic acids, nitro-substituted aromatic carboxylic acids and their corresponding acid chlorides, and an amine selected from the group consisting of aliphatic amines, cycloaliphatic amines, and aromatic amines. The present invention also provides a fuel composition for internal combustion engines, comprising: (a) a major portion of fuel comprising from about 1 to 100% by volume of an alcohol having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and from about 99 to 0% by volume of a non-alcohol fuel selected from the group consisting of gasoline, individual hydrocarbon components of gasoline, and dimethoxymethane, and (b) a minor portion of the fuel additive described above.
