Abstract:
A covered belt conveyor comprising a base frame (1), the base frame (1) extending in a longitudinal direction of the covered belt conveyor having a first longitudinal rail (1a) and a second longitudinal rail 1lb), the first longitudinal rail (1a) being substantially parallel to the second longitudinal rail (1b); a plurality of idlers (3); a cover (4); a multipurpose frame (10) for supporting the cover (4) on the base frame (1), the multipurpose frame (10) extending in a transverse direction substantially normal to the longitudinal direction of the covered belt conveyor, the cover (4) being directly supported by the multipurpose frame (10) such that the cover (4) rests on the multipurpose frame; wherein at least one of the plurality of idlers is attached to the multipurpose frame such that the at least part of the weight of the at least one idler is supported by the multipurpose frame.
Abstract:
Bulk store for storing bulk material in a pile (2) and reclaiming bulk material from the pile, and comprising -a bulk storing area (1) being laterally delimited by a longitudinally extending delimiting wall (3) - -a bulk material reclaiming device (8) of the side scraper type comprising a pivotally mounted scraping jib (19) being pivotal about an essentially horizontal pivot axis (20) for reclaiming material from the pile, the reclaiming device (8) being movable along a first and a second mutually parallel track (12;13) being parallel with the wall (3) and being provided with first wheel means (15) for travelling on said first track and second wheel means (16) for travelling on said second track, the first track being arranged closer to the wall than the second track, and -a belt conveyer (11) arranged between the first and second track (12;13).
Abstract:
Method and installation for calcining cement raw meal in a calciner (10) whereby fuel and a calciner oxidant having an oxygen content of at least 30% vol are introduced into the calciner (10) so as to generate either an oxidant-lean zone or a fuel-lean zone in the calciner located between the lowermost fuel inlet level (L13) and the lowermost oxidant inlet level (L16) of the calciner (10), between 50% and 100% by weight of the raw meal (14, 15) being supplied to the calciner (10) upstream of and/or within the oxidant-lean, respectively the fuel-lean zone.
Abstract:
A plant for loading road transport vehicles with sacks of loose material comprises a parking area (2) of a road transport vehicle; a chain conveyor (5) for the transport of at least one stack of sacks of loose material; said chain conveyor (5) being movable from a loading position to a pickup position located in correspondence of said parking area (2); a handling member of said sacks (S) for picking up said sacks (S) from said chain conveyor (5) in said pickup position and depositing them in said vehicle; said handling member (7) comprises a fork (8) to lift the entire stack of sacks (S) from the chain conveyor (5) towards the vehicle.
