Abstract:
An epoxy adhesive using a fatty acid ester solvent is provided to prevent emission of volatile organic compounds causing environmental pollution, and to obtain an adhesive for a flooring material having excellent biodegradability. An adhesive composition for a flooring material comprises an epoxy resin and is obtained by using a fatty acid ester compound as a solvent. An adhesive composition for the adhesion of a flooring material comprises: 4-36 parts by weight of an epoxy resin, 5-35 parts by weight of a tackifier; 5-70 parts by weight of a filler, 1-20 parts by weight of a fatty acid ester solvent; and 0.001-2 parts by weight of a dispersant.

PURPOSE: Provided is a water repellent which is easily dissolved in general solvent and has excellent water repellency, and which shows excellent durability when used for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The fluorine-containing fatty acid ester used as a water repellent is represented by formula 1: F(CF2)n(CH2)mOOC-R1-CH3. In the formula 1, R1 is an alkenyl group containing at least one of C10-C18 double bonds, n is an integer of 6-12, and m is an integer of 4-10. The fatty acid ester containing fluorine is obtained by condensing a fatty acid represented by formula 2 and perfluoroalcohol represented by formula 3 in the presence of catalyst. Formula 2: HOOC-R1-CH3. Formula 3: F(CF2)n(CH2)mOH. In the formulae 2 and 3, R1 is an alkenyl group containing at least one of C10-C18 double bonds, n is an integer of 6-12, and m is an integer of 4-10.

PURPOSE: A water soluble wear-resistant agent for metal working process is provided to obtain improved solubility, foaming stability and lubricating ability by introducing both of a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group into a molecule of the agent. CONSTITUTION: The wear-resistant agent comprises a polymer combination represented by a formula of H(OCH2CH2)£(OCH2CH2)xOOC-R1-COO|n(CH2CH2O)xCH2CH2OR2) prepared by conducting a condensation-polymerization of aliphatic di-basic acid represented by a formula of HOOC-R1-COOH and polyethyleneglycol represented by a formula of H(OCH2CH2)xOCH2CH2OH in a presence of specified catalyst (wherein R1 is alkyl or alkenyl group having C4-C12; R2 is hydrogen or -(O)C-R1-COOH; x is integer of 4-35; n is integer less than 4 when R2 is hydrogen while another integer of 1-10 when R2 is -(O)C-R1-COOH).

The cooling lubricant composition for a home refrigerator using R-134a (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane) as a substitute refrigerant is a mixture of a neopentyl glycol dicarprylate and a di(neopentyl glycol monocaprylate) adipate [the mixture ratio=8:2˜4:6 having 10˜35 cst dynamic viscosity at 40≦̸C. The mixture is produced by reacting an adipic acid with a neopentyl glycol, and reacting the reactant with a carprylic acid. The cooling lubricant compsn. has a good heat and oxidation-stability and abrasion resistance.

A low viscosity polyalphaolefin is produced by dissolving a catalyst of AlCl3- ethylene glycol diacetate- nickel chloride [mole ratio = 1:0.5:0.225 in a polyalphaolefin solvent to obtain a polyalphaolefin solvent to obtain a catalyst sludge, and reacting the sludge with an alphaolefin at 100-150 deg.C for 1- 22hr. The polyalphaolefin is used as a basic oil of engine oil for Automobiles.

A neutral and superbasic alkylphenate is prepd. by adding sulphur powder, alkaline earth metal and C2-4 diol to C8-20 alkylphenol to prepare alkylphenol sulphide of formula (I) [R= C8-20 hydrocarbon; x= 1-3; M= oxide or hydroxide of alkaline earth metal, e.g. Ca, Mg, Ba!, reacting (I) with excessive amt. of alkaline earth metal, high b.p. of alcohol, C2-4 diol and CO2 gas, filtering and removing unreacted soild, and distillating and removing water produced in the reaction.
