    Abstract: The present invention is characterized in a mounting structure for a gear knob in which an upper end of a gear rod is inserted and mounted in an introduction hole formed in a lower part of the mounting structure, the mounting structure comprising: a knob core having the introduction hole longitudinally formed therein; a clip rotatably mounted on the knob core and including a protrusion on an outer circumferential surface thereof; and the gear rod having a fixing recess in an outer circumferential surface thereof and introduced in the introduction hole such that the knob core is fitted on the gear rod, wherein when the gear rod is inserted in the knob core, a clip rotates such that the protrusion is protruded toward the inside of the knob core and is fitted in the fixing recess. The present invention configured as described above makes a worker less tired since a coupling process is performed with small pressing force, and solves a problem of a conventional structure so as to decrease a defect rate. In addition, the present invention increases assembly efficiency by solving an excessive rotation issue caused in a screw coupling method as one of conventional mounting methods for a gear knob and a gear rod.
