An apparatus and a method for processing an image are provided to improve speed of a coding process by reducing the number of access to a system memory part. An image process part(205) processes data inputted from various sensors so as to generate image data. The first codec part(203) codes the image data in the form of the first coding or decodes it so as to generate coded data or decoded data. The second codec part(204) codes the image data in the form of the second coding or decodes it so as to generate the coded data or the decoded data. A system memory part(202) stores the image data, the coded data and the decoded data. A central processing part(200) controls each part. A router part(206) transmits the image data to the first and second codec parts in order to performs the coding and intermediates transmission of the coded data between the first and second codec parts.

PURPOSE: A method for enhancing the digital image quality is provided to lighten distortion of screened halftone pattern area and enhance the quality. CONSTITUTION: RGB color data of an observed pixel are converted into color data having brightness components and chroma components(10). It is judged whether suppressed masking process conditions are satisfied(20). If so, a suppressed masking process emphasizing pixel data is proceeded by smoothing the brightness data with a predetermined mask(30). The quality improved brightness data and the color saturation data are inversely converted to update the RGB data(40). It is judged whether the observed pixel is a final pixel(50).

PURPOSE: A high speed Huffman decoding method and an apparatus thereof are provided, which performs a Huffman decoding in a high speed. CONSTITUTION: According to the apparatus for high speed Huffman decoding, a Huffman table storing part(82) stores a minimum code value, a maximum code value, a pointer value and a Huffman value. A selection part(100) selects one of an initial value and an upper jump address and a lower jump address as I in response to a selection signal. The first address generation part(102) generates the upper and the lower jump addresses in response to the I and then outputs it to the selection part. A masking part(104) masks data of 2k bit obtained from an input code stream as much as the I bit, and outputs the masking result as a present code value. A comparison part(112) compares the present code value with the Ith minimum code value or the Ith maximum code value, and outputs the comparison result. The second address generation part(114) calculates J in correspondence to the Ith pointer value and the Ith minimum code value and the present code value. And a control part(116) outputs the maximum code value or the minimum code value from the Huffman table storing part, and outputs the pointer value from the Huffman table storing part to the second address storing part, and outputs the minimum code value from the Huffman table storing part to the comparison part, and outputs the selection signal to the selection part.

CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor package includes a first semiconductor chip(130), a second semiconductor chip(140), a first bonding wire(135), and a second bonding wire. The first semiconductor chip is laminated on the first part of the substrate. A second semiconductor chip is laminated on the second part which is different from the first part. The first bonding wire interlinks the first semiconductor chip and the second semiconductor chip. The second bonding wire is connected to the semiconductor chip and the substrate and is electrically connected to at least one of the first bonding wire.

An image forming apparatus, a method for generating a color table and a method for printing a color document are provided to use a color table in copying a color document, thereby reducing a color change. An image forming apparatus(100) comprises a color matching unit(110) and a color table generating unit(120). The color matching unit matches a color comprising a color document using a predetermine number of colors with a color which can be realized in the image forming apparatus. The color table generating unit generates a color table by using the matched color. The color document is one of a map and a receipt.
