    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing impact absorbing foamed body which has an impact absorption property while maintaining mechanical properties of the foamed body commonly used for shoes, such as hardness, specific gravity, and etc. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the foamed body includes foaming a thermoplastic rubber having a block copolymer formed with a soft block of unsaturated or saturated polyisoprene and a hard block of polystyrene, in which the soft block has a glass transition temperature(Tg) of -20 to 20 deg.C. The thermoplastic rubber is blended with ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer, ethylene-alphaolefin copolymer, ethylene-ethylacrylate copolymer, polyethylene resin, styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, and styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymer. The ratio of the blended copolymer to the thermoplastic rubber is 10 to 90 weight parts based on the 100 weight parts of the thermoplastic rubber.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an outer sole of shoes by heating and cooling is provided to use a press, which is widely used in producing the outer sole of shoes, with technology by using characteristics of a thermoplastic elastic body. CONSTITUTION: In the method for manufacturing the outer sole of shoes by heating and cooling, many kinds of materials are included. Styrene thermoplastic elastomeric material, olefin thermoplastic elastomeric material, cross-linkable olefin thermoplastic elastomeric material, ethylene/a-olefin copolymers, chloroprene polyethylene resin and ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers resin are used as basic materials. Natural resin, synthetic resin are blended with thermoplastic elastomeric materials. The thermoplastic elastomeric materials are heated in a thermal chamber or a heating oven at 100-220 deg.C and are cooled and pressed by using the pressing machine.
