Abstract:
PURPOSE: An Internet broadcasting system and method for providing MPEG-4 based stereoscopic video data are provided to encode and multiplex multimedia data using MPEG-4 TS(Temporal Scalability) structure. CONSTITUTION: An Internet broadcasting system for providing MPEG-4 based stereoscopic video data includes an encoding server(200), a web server(400), and a streaming server(300). The encoding server receives stereoscopic video data, audio data and OD/BIFS(Object Descriptor/BInary Format for Scene) that is contents control information and encodes them into MPEG-4 elementary stream. The web server receives a display mode from a client(600). The streaming server receives the display mode from the web server and multiplexes the elementary stream to generate an Internet real-time transfer packet and transmits the packet to the client.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A vergence control system and method according to over sampling and variable addressing and a parallel-axis stereo camera are provided to process input video signals in real time with a simple hardware construction and reduce information loss. CONSTITUTION: A vergence control system(310) includes an analog/digital converter(311), a memory(312), a variable address generator(313), a vertical processor(314) and a vertical interpolator(315). The analog/digital converter performs horizontal over sampling of an image photographed by an external camera. The memory stores the over-sampled image. The variable address generator outputs a vergence-controlled image from the images stored in the memory. The vertical processor receives the vergence-controlled image from the memory to process the image in the vertical direction. The vertical interpolator accepts the vertically processed image and interpolates the image to the size of the photographed image.

PURPOSE: A device and a method of photorefractive recording medium fabrication and a device and a method of 3-dimensional holographic display using the same are provided to use the photorefractive recording medium as a fringe diffraction field, thereby eliminating a computation time for a real-time computer-generated hologram upon display and enabling real-time vertical and horizontal hologram display with high resolution. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(10) controls point holograms for all coordinates of a virtual space to be respectively multiplexed and recorded in a photorefractive recording medium(15). A light source unit(11) cuts off and transmits beams and expands widths of transmitted laser beams under control of the control unit(10). A beam splitter(12) optically splits the laser beams of which the widths are expanded into an object beam and a reference beam. An object beam processing unit(13) cuts off or transmits the object beam, generates point holograms for all coordinates in the virtual space by spatially modulating the transmitted object beam, and then records the object beam in the photorefractive recording medium(15) by reducing the object beam to have a recordable beam width, under control of the control unit(10). A reference beam processing unit(14) varies the reference beam when recording the point holograms in the photorefractive recording medium(15) to have a different incident angle. A display unit(1) enlarges the holograms recorded in the optical photorefractive recording medium(15) to an observable size.

방송 신호 수신 방법에서, 방송 서비스에 대한 영상 데이터와, 상기 서비스의 타입이 2차원 방송 서비스인지 좌우 영상에 따른 3차원 방송 서비스인지를 나타내는 타입 정보를 포함하는 디스크립터를 가진 프로그램 맵 테이블(program map table, PMT)가 다중화된 스트림이 수신된다. 수신된 스트림으로부터 영상 데이터 및 PMT를 각각 역다중화하고, 역다중화된 PMT를 복호한다.

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a broadcasting signal is provided to automatically vary a decoding method and a parallax barrier according to a broadcasting mode. CONSTITUTION: If a broadcasting program is inputted, a broadcasting service device obtains the broadcasting mode information of the corresponding broadcasting program by the analysis of the broadcasting program inputted through the program scheduler(S101,S102). The broadcasting service device encoded stream(S103). The broadcasting service device generates transport stream through a multiplexer(S104).
