    Abstract: An oil cooling system for a CNG vehicle is provided to prevent transmission oil or engine from being overheated under a specific travel condition, by improving cooling performance of automatic transmission oil and engine cooling performance. An oil cooling system for a CNG vehicle comprises a tank(50) for storing high pressure natural gas; a regulator(60) connected to the tank so as to reduce the pressure of high pressure fuel; a fuel intake pipe(70) connected to the regulator so as to supply natural gas fuel with reduced pressure to an engine(10); an automatic transmission(20) connected to the engine so as to automatically shift a shift gear in accordance with a vehicle operating condition; a heat exchanger(30) for cooling oil operating as working oil in the automatic transmission; a radiator(40) connected to the engine so as to cool the coolant circulating through the engine; and a coolant supply pipe(41) for supplying the coolant passed through the radiator and the heat exchanger to the engine. The fuel intake pipe has a part arranged to cover a periphery of the coolant supply pipe.

The unit for detecting the motion state of the vehicle detects a signal variable according to the operation state of a switch and the motion state of the vehicle. The transmission control unit receives the signal detected from the unit for detecting the motion state of the vehicle, decides kick down shift, and outputs a kick down shift control signal in case of a demand for kick down shift. The driving unit is driven by the control signal output from the transmission control unit and the driving unit shifts the gear level into kick down. Thus, accelerative response property is increased and fuel consumption is reduced with little operation of an accelerator pedal.
