Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an assist handle grip for a vehicle is provided to prevent a surface fault of the assist handle grip by forming the assist handle grip using polypropylene with an injection molding process. CONSTITUTION: A predetermined amount of molten polypropylene resin(20) is filled in a mold(30). Nitrogen gas is injected into the molten polypropylene resin(20) through a nozzle. A gas channel(40) is formed in the molten polypropylene resin(20) by nitrogen gas. Then, remaining polypropylene resin(20) is filled in the mold(30) while the molten resin maintains a shape corresponding to the mold(30) by gas pressure. Then, a cooling process is carried out while maintaining gas pressure of 0.4-0.5MPa in molten polypropylene resin(20). After shutting off gas, an article is ejected from the mold(30).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a cup holder for a vehicle is provided to support a container stably without vibration and noise in contacting a cup or a can to the cup holder by double injection molding, and to increase the productivity by reducing manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A cup holder is composed of a core part forming an inner layer, and a skin part forming an outer layer and surrounding the core part. The core part is injection-molded by PP(polypropylene) resin, and the skin part is injection-molded by TPE(Thermoplastic elastomer). The inner layer is formed with injection-molding PP resin(S10). A mold is turned at an angle of 180 degrees after cooling as 70-80%, and the outer layer is formed with injection-molding TPE resin(S14). The cup holder is separated from the mold after cooling(S16). The core part made of PP is mounted integrally with the skin part made TPE. Manufacturing process is reduced, and the productivity is increased with double injection molding.
