    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve moisture resistance and optical characteristics by forming the polarizing film of a conjugate high polymer layer and a nonpolarizing plastic layer. CONSTITUTION:The conjugate high polymer part of a polarizing filter consisting of the nonpolarizing plastic film layer and nonpolarizing plastic layer is a change migration complex, so it has conductivity. Therefore, when the conjugate high polymer layer is present on at least one surface of the nonpolarizing plastic, the surface of an obtained polarizing filter is conductive. Further, the film is superior in thermal, chemical, and mechanical stability because of conjugate structure. Consequently, the optical characteristics and moisture resistance are improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition, capable of coloring by interference and having excellent stability, by providing an aqueous solution containing an itaconic acid diester, ionic surfactant and organic amine in respective specific proportions and radically polymerizing the itaconic acid diester. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition obtained by preparing an aqueous solution containing 0.5-10wt.% itaconic diester expressed by the formula (R is 8-24C hydrocarbon in which hydrogens are partially substituted by F) and 0.005-0.2wt.% ionic surfactant (e.g., sodium dodecyl sulfate) and/or an organic amine (e.g., triethanolamine) and further radically polymerizing the itaconic diester in the aqueous solution by a method for irradiating the above-mentioned aqueous solution with ultraviolet rays in the presenoe of an initiator, e.g., hydrogen peroxide.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily produce a microporous film having uniform pore diameter, easily controllable thickness and shape of the film and durable even to heat- treatment, etc. by the solvent-treatment of a conjugated polymer compound containing a colloid composed of a substance soluble in the solvent. CONSTITUTION:A monomer of a conjugated polymer compound (e.g. polypyrrole or polythiophene) is subjected to electrochemical oxidative polymerization in a solution containing a negatively charged colloid having particle diameter of 0.01-100mum (a polymer latex or an inorganic compound, preferably a polymer latex) or said monomer is subjected to electrochemical oxidative polymerization using an electrode coated with said colloid. A colloid-containing conjugated polymer compound produced by the above process is treated with a solvent of the colloid (e.g. dioxane or toluene) to produce a microporous film having a pore diameter of 0.01-100mum. The pore diameter can be controlled by selecting the particle diameter of the colloid and the film thickness can be controlled by the polymerization time, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of the title polymer which can give a coating film excellent in surface uniformity, smoothness, heat resistance and chemical stability and is useful in the fields of printing and painting, by finely pulverizing a filmy electronically conjugated polymer obtained by polymerizing an aromatic compound by anodic oxidation in an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Plate, cylindrical or the like electrodes are immersed in an electrolyte obtained by dissolving or dispersing an aromatic compound selected from among pyrrole, thiophene, furan, benzene, anthracene, aniline and derivatives thereof in a suitable solvent and optionally adding a supporting electrolyte to the solution or the dispersion, and the compound is electrochemically polymerized by anodic oxidation by application of a voltage between the electrodes to obtain a filmy electronically conjugated polymer on the anodic plate. This film is peeled off, withdrawn from the electrolyte and ground and finely pulverized to give the title polymer of a thickness of 0.01-100mu, a length of the longest side of 0.1-500mu which is at least three times the thickness.

    Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (n is 8-16 integer) and a salt thereof. EXAMPLE:N-Lauroyl-N-(3-hydroxypropyl)glycine. USE:A surface active agent preferably usable for heir and skin detergent for little children, kitchen detergent for housewives having the hands to be readily chapped, daily shampoo, shampoo for beauty culture having low irritation, etc., because of improved hard water resistance, low irritation and improved surface active performance. PREPARATION:A compound shown by formula II is reacted with a compound shown by formula III in the presence of a base to give a compound shown by formula I. The compound keeps effects as surface active agent when it is used not only for city water but also underground water, hot spring, seawater, etc., and use of the compound as an additive for other surface active agents provides hard water with foam increasing effects. CONSTITUTION:A composition for vesicles obtained by incorporating (A) a phosphoric acid ester of formula I (R1 and R2 are 6-24C hydrocarbon group; M is alkali metal, etc.) with (B) one or two or more surfactants selected from a compound of the formula R3COOM (R3 is 6-36C hydrocarbon group), compounds of formulas II and III, a compound of the formula R3OSO3M, etc. at (100:1)- (100:100) weight ratio between the components (A) and (B), dissolving the resultant mixture in a solvent capable of dissolving both to give 1-50wt%, preferably 5-30wt% concentration, agitating the solution to make it uniform, and removing the solvent. The above-mentioned composition is suspended in water, and then irradiated with ultrasonic waves to give the aimed vesicles.
