Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polishing liquid composition excellent in the surface smoothness of a polished material after polishing and moreover capable of polishing at an economical speed without causing a surface discontinuity such as a projection and a damage by polishing for the finishing polishing of a memory hard disk or the polishing of a semiconductor element. SOLUTION: This polishing liquid composition is obtained by mixing a polishing material (B) and water and has 1.3-3.0 ratio (D90/D50) of the particle size of the polishing material (D90) at which the integrated particle size distribution (based on particle number) of the polishing material from the smaller particle size side reaches 90% to the particle size (D50) at which the integrated particle size distribution reaches 50% and 10-600 nm of the D50. Besides, the polishing liquid composition is obtained by mixing two or more kinds of polishing materials having different particle sizes (D50) an water and has 1.1-3.0 ratio (D50L/D50S) of the D50 value (D50L) o the polishing material (B) having the largest D50 value to the D50 value (D50S) of the polishing material (A) having the smallest D50 value and (90/10) to (10/90) compounded ratio [A/B (weight ratio)] of polishing materials A and B.

CONSTITUTION:An antistatic agent is prepd. by compounding 40-80wt.% 8-22C alkanesulfonic acid with 60-20wt.% at least one compd. selected from the group consisting of a polyoxyethylene aliph. amine of formula I (wherein R is 8-22C alkyl or alkenyl; and m+n is 1-10), a polyoxyethylene/fatty acid amide of formula II (wherein R is 7-21C alkyl or alkenyl; and m+n is 1-20), a glycerin ester of a fatty acid of formula N (wherein R is R ), a fatty acid amide of aminoethylethanolamine of formula IV (wherein R is R ), a substd. imidazoline formula V (wherein R is R ), and an ethylene oxide adduct of a hydroxyalkylamine of formula VI (wherein R is 6-20C alkyl or alkenyl; and p is 1-5). The objective compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. styrene resin with 1-10 pts.wt. above-prepd. antistatic agent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a polypropylene resin composition having an excellent antistatic property without damaging the mechanical properties thereof by adding an antistatic agent and a nucleating agent to a polypropylene resin containing an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene resin composition is characterized by adding (B) 0.1-2 pts.wt., especially 0.3-1 pt.wt., of an antistatic agent, preferably a compound of the formula (R is 12-22C alkyl, acyl) and/or a 12-22C fatty acid monoglyceride, especially a mixture of a 12-22C alkyl-containing N,N-bis(2- hydroxyethyl) alkyl amine and a 12-22C higher alcohol, and (C) 0.05-1 pt.wt., especially 0.07-0.5, of a nucleating agent such as a dibenzylidene sorbitol derivative, an organic dicarboxylic acid or a salt thereof, or an organic phosphate ester, to (A) 100 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler-containing polypropylene resin comprising a polypropylene resin and an inorganic filler (preferably talc) in a ratio of 95/5 to 65/35, preferably 90/10 to 70/30.
