    Abstract: PURPOSE:To rapidly dissolve a state of clogging by attaching a control unit capable of adjusting the capacity of a separator to a specified state according to the thickness of a layer of materials to be treated on a shaking sifter. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a layer of materials to be treated on a shaking sifter 17 is monitored by a sieve sensor (S4). In case the thickness of the layer of materials to be treated is larger than the first set value and lower than the second set value (state immediately before clogging), the capacity of a separator (B) is controlled not towards the reduction side but only towards the increase side. When the thickness of the layer of materials to be treated has a value larger than the second set value (state of clogging), the capacity of the separator (B) is kept to a value of the maximum capacity or a value in the vicinity thereof.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep the grading accuracy by keeping the treating capacity to a prescribed level when the thickness of the layer of the treating object is thinner than a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of the layer of the treating object on a vibration grading plate 17 is detected by a sieve sensor S4 of a treating object volume detection means. When the detected level is decreased below a prescribed level, a controlling means lowers the opening degree of a chaff sieve by two grades and sets the opening degree as the final controlling level of the chaff sieve and, at the same time, lowers the air flow of a winnower by one grade to decrease the treating capacity of the grading apparatus B by a prescribed level by the combined effect of the lowering of the chaff sieve opening and the air flow. The volume of the treating object is gradually increased after the above adjustment. The grading accuracy of the chaff sieve 20 and the winnower 16 of the grading apparatus B can be maintained by this process.

If the longitudinal inclination angle difference is larger, a pitching drive means CY2 is selectively operated, if the lateral inclination angle difference is larger, a rolling drive means CY3 is selectively operated. The attitude control power can be reduced.
