Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosed type electric compressor for household-use refrigerator with high efficiency and low noise performance by improving the intake efficiency of noise elimination effect of an a suction muffler. SOLUTION: A suction muffler 17 is composed of two chambers 22, 23, a tail pipe 20, a communication pipe 24, and a suction pipe 25. The pipes 20, 24, 25 are arranged on a same plane with opposite openings inclined to be formed into a letter U shape. The section of inlet 21 of the tail pipe 20 is formed into a flared shape larger than the section of a suction pipe 18. With the constitution, suction of refrigerant to the maffler 17 is made smooth, pressure wave is attenuated at two stages to thereby reduce the flow resistance of refrigerant, resulting in improvement in the noise elimination characteristic and suction efficiency of the muffler 17.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve intake efficiency of refrigerant into a cylinder block and improve muffling effect of an intake muffler by composing the intake muffler of a conical front cone and an inverted conical rear cone. SOLUTION: A reed valve 15 repeats opening-closing action several times at the time of an intake stroke so as to generate pressure wave near an intake hole 14. This pressure wave travels as sound wave toward a muffler inlet part, and is amplified by the conical taper of a front cone 18 and reflected toward a muffler outlet part by the inverted conical taper of a rear cone 19. The reflected pressure wave reaches the muffler outlet so as to accelerate intake of refrigerant into a cylinder block, which results in improving intake efficiency. Since most of pressure wave is reflected by the rear cone 19, sound wave radiated from the muffler inlet part can be reduced so as to improve muffling effect.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain vibration while securing safety even on a narrow support projection surface by miniaturization by arrangement of a support position concerning a comparatively small reciprocating piston to be used for a house- hold refrigerator, etc. SOLUTION: An elastic support material 15 is arranged on one end on the side where an overweighed part of a block 5 from a central line CL in the sliding direction of a piston 8 exists and an elastic support material is also arranged on another end roughly symmetrically and, furthermore, another elastic support material is arranged on an extension in the sliding direction of the piston 8 on a bracket 13 on the side of a cylinder 6 against a central line C4 of a crankshaft 4. Additionally, as an elastic support material is arranged and constituted by being biased to the side where the overweighed part of the block 5 exists from the central line CL in the sliding direction of the piston 8 on the bracket on the side of the cylinder 6 opposite to the crankshaft 4, it is possible to restrain vibration while securing safety even on a narrow support projection surface.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and increase efficiency by increasing the silencing effect of a suction muffler and also increasing the sucking efficiency of it on a hermetic electrically driven compressor used for a household refrigerator. SOLUTION: In a suction muffler 17 formed with a muffler suction pipe 18, a chamber 19, and a muffler tail pipe 20, the chamber 19 is formed with an octahedron whose surfaces opposed to each other are shifted by 10 deg. or more from being parallel. Thus a resonance occurred in the chamber 19 can be eliminated, the silencing effect of the suction muffler can be increased, and sucking efficiency can be increased because any obstacle is not provided inside the chamber 19.

SOLUTION: In the halfway of a pipe line 18 between a suction hole 14 and a suction muffler 17, by opening a refrigerant in/out branch pipe by an opening 19, when a reed valve 15 is opened, inside the refrigerant in/out branch pipe is once charged with refrigerant gas, when the valve is opened again, gas in the refrigerant in/out branch pipe is supplied into a cylinder, inertia of flowing is maintained and improved, suction efficiency can be improved, and a closed type motor-driven compressor with high efficiency in low noise is obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain and improve the performance of a compressor while improving the performance of a muffler by opening via a branch pipe a sealed small chamber for taking in/out a part of suction gas, on the way of a reed valve for opening/closing an inlet hole and a pipe line extended from the inlet hole to a suction muffler. SOLUTION: A compression unit 5 in which a compression element 3 and a motor are integrated in its upper and lower parts, is elastically supported by a spring 6 in the sealed case 2 of a sealed electric compressor 1. A branch pipe is arranged by being branched away from a pipe line 18, and a sealed small chamber is connected the terminal thereof. In a suction process, when a reed valve 15 is opened, refrigerant gas is led to flow into a cylinder by being passed from a suction muffler 17 through the pipe line 18. Next, when a piston 12 is lifted and a compression process is set in, the reed valve 15 is closed so that gas in the pipe line 18 is rapidly dammed, passed through the branch pipe, and filled into the sealed small chamber. Therefore, the upstream flow of gas in the pipe line may not be stopped, and gas in the sealed small chamber is imediately led to flow into the pipe line.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the extent of pressure pulsation by branching off a refrigerant conducted to a discharge muffler from an interconnecting pipe, to a refrigerant passage to be formed by an inner groove and a muffler ring formed in an inner wall of this discharge muffler, and then rejoining these branched refrigerants together and discharging it to the discharge muffler. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant drawn in is compressed by a piston 25 reciprocating in the inner part of a cylinder 24. At this time, since compression and suction are repeated in this cylinder 24, this discharge refrigerant has the pressure pulsation conformed to rotational frequency of a motor element driving a compressive element. The refrigerant with this pressure pulsation is conducted to a refrigerant from a discharge chamber 31 by way of an interconnecting pipe 32. Incidentally, this refrigerant coming out of a discharge port 38 of the pipe 32 is branched off at the refrigerant passage 37 consisting of the inner groove 35 or the like formed in an inner wall 34 of a discharge muffler 33. In brief, the refrigerant's pressure pulsation is decreased by flow passage resistance out of the refrigerant passage 37, while same pulsations are joined together at a discharge port 39 of a muffler ring 34, thereby countervailing each other, and then the eased pulsation is released to an interspace of the discharge muffler 33.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure reliability and service life without sacrifice of a vibration proofing function by filling an enclosed container with refrigerant of fleon gas containing hydrogen atom and refrigerating machine oil where ester composite oil is used as a basic oil, and fixing a vibro-proof member coming into close contact with a discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION:An enclosed container 14 is filled with refrigerant HFC-134a or HFC-152a of fleon gas containing hydrogen atom or either of mixed refrigerant containing them, and refrigerating machine oil 13 where ester composite oil is used as a basic oil to constitute a refrigerating system. A vibro-proof member 27 is fixed coming into close contact with a discharge pipe 22 passing through the enclosed container 14. The vibro-proof member 27 is coated with approximately 20-100mu thick silicone resin film. By this, it is difficult for the vibro-proof member 27 to have extraction and swelling by the refrigerating machine oil 13, so it is possible to provide a compressor which will not have decreased performance due to sludge and decreased vibro-proof effect due to swelling.
