Abstract: Aspects provide for wireless communication between a UE and a radio access network (RAN) node in a wireless communication network. The RAN node may generate a resynchronization signal (RSS) for a bandwidth part (BWP) of a plurality of BWPs and transmit the RSS in the BWP of a downlink to the UE. A first bandwidth of the RSS may be based on a second bandwidth of the BWP. The UE may receive the RSS in different RRC states and perform a measurement of the RSS for synchronization, for an early detection of a paging or wake-up signal, and/or for radio resource management (RRM) measurements or radio link monitoring (RLM) measurements. The UE may utilize a communication link with the RAN node based on the measurement and the RAN node may utilize the communication link to communicate with a group of UEs sharing at least one same RSS beam.

Abstract: Aspects relate to dynamically changing the slot format of a slot between half-duplex and sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) and/or to changing flexible symbols within a flexible slot between half-duplex and SBFD when a base station is configured to operate in a SBFD mode. A slot format indicator (SFI) indicating the slot format of the slot may be signaled, for example, via downlink control information (DCI) mapped to a downlink control channel or medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) mapped to a downlink data channel. To improve reliability, various SFI boosting mechanisms may further be employed. For example, the base station may apply a higher aggregation level to the SFI, transmit repetitions of the SFI across multiple beams, apply a CRC enhancement and/or MCS enhancement to the downlink control channel carrying the SFI, and/or apply a power boost to the SFI.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information including an indication of a discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may receive a message including an indication to adjust monitoring of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and monitor for the PDCCH during the discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may adjust monitoring for the PDCCH following the discontinuous monitoring delay period during a temporal period based on the received indication to adjust monitoring of the PDCCH. In some examples, at least one of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception, downlink reference signal monitoring, uplink reference signal transmissions, and channel reporting is enabled during the temporal period while monitoring of the PDCCH is adjusted.

A base station may identify a slot format configuration, such as a time division duplex (TDD) slot format configuration, and one or more downlink repetition configurations corresponding to a number of downlink repetitions for a user equipment (UE). The base station may transmit the configurations to the UE. The UE may determine that the number of downlink repetitions and the configured slot format satisfy, or fail to satisfy, a validation rule for monitoring the number of downlink repetitions. The UE may monitor, or refrain from monitoring, the number of repetitions based on whether the validation rule is satisfied.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of scheduling information for dedicated on-demand system information (SI) corresponding to a specified UE category, wherein the indication is carried in at least one of: a minimum system information (MSI) communication, a radio resource control (RRC) message, a response message of a two-step random access channel (RACH) procedure, a random access response (RAR) message of a fourstep RACH procedure, a contention resolution message of a four-step RACH procedure, a message type flag indicating the transmission of the dedicated on-demand SI, or a combination thereof; transmit, to the base station, an on-demand SI request based at least in part on the scheduling information and the UE category; and receive one or more on-demand system information blocks. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability report to a base station indicating a triggering offset. The base station may configure the UE with one or more channel state information (CSI) measurement resources and send downlink control information (DCI) that triggers an aperiodic CSI report for some of the CSI measurement resources. The UE may report CSI by measuring the CSI resources after the triggering offset. In some cases, CSI reporting related to the different codebook types (e. g., Type I, Type II) may be modified, where after identifying a type of codebook and determining which type of codebook to process (e. g., based on a number of CSI processing units), the UE may identify a priority associated with different CSI reports. The UE may be configured with various parameters that relax or modify the processing of Type II CSI reports.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a control resource set (CORESET) that indicates a precoder granularity unit over which a same precoding is used for resources of the CORESET. The precoder granularity unit may be greater than a resource element group bundle of the CORESET and less than contiguous resource blocks of the CORESET.
